Update From . COM Some Nigerians in Libya are mourning a compatriot identified simply as Tina, who died in Tripoli after she allegedly went insane, Reports. According to a Tripoli-based man, Isaac Charles from Enugu State, who disclosed this to , on Friday, June 11, the deceased "ran mad" and passed away later. Mental health is something we need to always give utmost importance to. It's just that in this part of the world, we believe someone has mental issues only when the person is naked, tattered or when "e don enter market". Several people of both genders have some sort of mental issues and they're not even aware of it. According to research, women are more prone to mental health illness than men (not being sexist). An example is a popular female here that's not even aware she's got Obsessive-compulsive disorder, but still believes she's just being a Feminist or a Misandrist. Mental health illness can lead to insanity or even death. About 10M people die from mental illness each year in the world. In Nigeria alone, about 30% (around 60M people) have some kind of mental illness, and the number keeps increasing, yet we're all taking it as nothing or "Cruise" or "as long as I neva enter market, I still dey okay".
