Also, fuel, electricity and other basic things government keep increasing every now and then is to meet up with loan servicing because it is putting too much pressure on government. Do you have any statistics proof to that or it's just an assumption, the loan he collected from china are attached to infrastructure, would you have suggested tge government should abandon infrastructure, can you suggest another means to finance our deficit infrastructure. Those saying the loans are for infrastructure, I concur as well but most of the projects are cost padded and hyperinflated, for instance it might take 10 million to execute but this present administration will hype it to 100million, thereby creating a stress burden on repayment. At the end of the day, critical sectors like education and healthcare are neglected which is the present case. 1 Like |

You know your leaders are corrupt You know Chinese loans are targeted at corrupt office holders Since you have been existing in this space called Nigeria, you know politicians are self centered and would do anything for their self interest. Loans are modern day form of enslavement and China has taken over the baton from the west. |

Any hope for Nigeria after buhari? Dont forget that Nigeria borrowed $2 billion to buy arms for the military to fight insurgency. But the money was shared. This happened during Good Jonathan's administration. This administration is utilizing the borrowed fund. But the problem is, there is insecurity in Nigeria. Some of these infrastructure can be destroyed within seconds if Nigeria go off in flames. The govt needs to tackle insecurity. They need to unite the people. 1 Like |
