Zionmdde: Dat shows how little u know. Its not everything dat public companies does comes out to the media. Know dat as the first thing u will learn this year. Yes d fg will be aware but u as a jjc won't be aware and they will release whatever info they want to while the main stakeholders cannot say otherwise in other not to loose their jobs See sense o. You came out to tell us you have the largest gas reserves YET it is classified. Why is oil production & reserves of each state not classified?.. why hasn't any stakeholder lose his job? NNPC would give an authorization for gas exploration without appropriate data on its desk, right? - erase the dot |

EraseTheDot: SEPLAT is currently exploring oil at Ohaji egbema not Gas. NLNG will receive gas from Rivers not Imo.

Cretins like you will cry racism against the white man but look at the hate, evil and wickedness that stems from your hearth against your fellow black people you share a country with. EraseTheDot: 1. No official data yet to this effect.
2. Southeast has the lowest oil reserves in Nigeria.
3. Southeast has the lowest oil production in the country.
A state/region with the lowest oil reserves could not possibly have the largest gas deposit. The oil deposits is proportional to the amounts of gas reserve underneath. Countries with large oil desposits has an equal amount of gas in proportion more than countries with small oil reserves. Southeast, whether Imo, Abia or Anambra ( which has not been officially approved an oil producing status) with the lowest oil deposits have equally the lowest amount of gas reserves in Nigeria. As we speak, gas consumption in Nigeria is fully an explorative activity of the Niger Delta. Although, in Imo state, the prospective of gas exploration has been highlighted but it is yet to commence full operation. Let's stop peddling falsehood for chest beating purposes.

eduj: from SEPLATS website
The Seplat Chairman reiterated that the $700m gas project aimed at producing around 300 MMscfd reinforced SEPLAT's commitment towards its leading position in the energy transition to a cleaner source of energy while providing sustainable development of its host communities. He remarked that the ANOH gas project would, amongst other things, drive the growth of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) as an alternative to unclean fuels like firewood, charcoal, kerosene. He confirmed that the company is targeting the fourth quarter of 2021 for ANOH's first gas and assured the government and people of Imo State of its timely completion and commission.

Don't choke on the dot yet, some other gas projects are still in the pipeline for the SE This is LPG not NLNG 7. Each oil producing state commissions its own LPG project. Ondo state recently commissioned its own. - erase the dot |

I hate to burst your bubbles but you'd be shocked to know that one reservoir can spread across numerous states.
So the oil in delta can be explored by bayelsans right on bayelsa soil.
Igbo communities may have been divided, but some of the "small oil" you think is in igboland is connected to the ones you think is abundant in another state. All that matters is who is using a bigger straw.
South east is small, using our small oil is enough for us, even though we will not be heavily dependent on them.
We will build an export-propelled manufacturing economy. |

PresidentBuBu: Oil doesn't necessarily coexist with gas. Southeast has the lowest oil production in the country? They have 3 oil producing states more than anywhere else in the country excluding South South. Oil production is determined by nnpc and private investors and doesn't really correlate to oil reserves. Majority of oil reserves are offshore, so even though SS states claim them they belong to no one. Imo state is one of the largest gas reserves site in Nigeria.Theyĺ have two gas production plants under construction by Shell and Selattyn with billions and I remember Sylva once mentioning an estimated 200trillion cubic feet of gas was in the state You need more lies to defend a lie - erase the dot
