You say you recently made the decision to follow Jesus Christ, then what you need to do next is learn from the teachings of the same Jesus Christ, what sin is and what sin is not and the only way you can do that is to Know (Submit to and Obey) the Truth( the teachings & commandments of Jesus Christ) , so that by this, the Truth shall set you free from bondage to sin - John 8 vs 31 - 40

It is true the Knowing of the Truth that you can truly understand what sin - disobedience of the commandments of God as given to us by Jesus Christ- is and what is not sin. Also, understand that those who hear the Truth but are not doers do not have the same understanding of Truth as those who are both hearers and doers of the Truth .i.e. Know the Truth.

So, where is this Truth? The Word of God, Jesus Christ, as recorded right there in the 4 Gospels- Matthew, Mark, Luke and John - for all to read and learn of the New Covenant Law in the Kingdom of God.

Hi there.

Congratulations on your choice to accept the Gospel. What a wonderful decision you have made for yourself. Will say a prayer for you to keep hold of your faith until the end. For now, I encourage you to go on and grow spiritually so that you can bear fruit for the Lord. There is great eternal reward in doing so.

I'm not sure what "redeeming of gift card" is, but if it is against the law, then you should not do it since Christians are called to obey the law of the land as long as it does not require us to disobey God.

As for intimacy gadgets, I'm not sure I know anything in the Bible that would lead me to proscribe it. So I would say that you should pray about it and continue growing spiritually (see the link) and the Lord will lead you to the right decision. That is how we all ought to deal with issues like this where the Scriptures are silent.
