Will the fate that befell Akinwunmi Ambode, immediate past governor of Lagos state, which cut short his desire for a second term also befall his successor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu? That is the question many Lagosians are debating now as a silent battle for the next occupant of the seat of power, Alausa Government House begins in earnest.https://independent.ng/2023-can-sanwo-olu-scale-second-term-hurdle/

Madness, absolute madness. We are in 2021 for crying out loud. The day this 2nd term of a thing becomes a thing of the past then we can talk of development as a country. Other countries are busy thinking of developing outter space and are making unbelievable science breakthroughs, we are busy discussing the basest of things like cows and 2nd tenure. Honestly, I give up. We Nigerians actually deserve the kind of leaders we get in this "blessed" country. Since we prefer reasoning like cavemen. |

Governors that get voted for second term always misbehave. I don't know about him. Those that voted people like Hell Rufai for second term are biting their lips hard |

Definitely, he will. If you are a youth in Lagos and you've not benefited from any of the free Lagos state sponsored programs. It means you've not been looking at the right places, you are just here for the criticism. Sanwo Olu has really tried in that aspect. I'm currently doing a program sponsored by Lagos state, my brother is doing another which they even pay them weekly for coming. |
