Yesterday(17th june is my interview date) I went to the passport office in Akure, strictly DIY.
I went there around 1:30pm, with my complete documents.
My documents was filed and I got interviewed after which the file was vetted, I was called for capturing at around 5:10pm.
I was captured but unlike others I didn't get the printout which contained the enrollment number and collection date( I saw the collection date on the screen 28.06.2021).
I hope not knowing the enrollment number won't later be a problem.
I was the only DIY, others paid through one of the officers in excess of 35-50k.
Most of the folks doesn't even know they can pay themselves.

they should have given u a slip after capturing... how then will u be able to pick ur passprt without slip? Even if it is handwritten slip but u need it. Pls go and complain now tht it is early

you can't capture without being given the enrollment number, I'll advice you go back as soon as possible

I finally submitted my application form to be vetted at Alausa Ikeja today...Those of you who is going there should get his guarantor form stamped and sign at Ikeja...don't forget to fixed d guarantor passport photograph to d form to be stamped too...I did a mistake of not fixing it to be stamped ...they have to send me back to stamped it with d form..Also,guarantor NIN was not collected and attached wit my file.they return it to me.they only collect the stamped guarantor form and photocopy of his passport data..I was told I will be notified to come for biometric capturing once my application is successful after it has been vetted.thanks

I did the DIY, my interview date was set in April next year. I contacted someone at the NIS headquarters in Abuja, she said to come with my complete documents as the date doesn't matter. Just signed my guarantors form, I'll be there as early as possible on Monday.

This is really funny, which one is next year? If not that they extort you guys over there I'd advice anyone to not use the DIY option, I did everything in less than 3hrs for 24k in the north here

same here. I chose calabar so I called my immigration personnel friend she advised I take Al the requirements to their office and submit, that after that they will tell me the interview date

Collecting passport at Ikoyi is not easy. Day 2 still no show. Even though we’ve been informed our passports r ready. This is tiring.

When they tell you the PIP machine is not working what doesn't mean. This is the excuse I was told at Ikoyi today. Your passport is ready but the PIP machine is not working

There is no need...it is 1 of the 3 they need ...photocopy of his data passport and the filled guarantor form stamped at d court..they return the NIN of the guarantor to me..its like it is not compulsory...the don't include it in my file to be vetted...please carry your Original birth certificate and Certificate of Origin along oooo....they will request it to be sighted.

mine was ppt office gwas, strictly DIY. Applied last week, submitted documents today and captured. Now waiting for my booklet. If you are in urgent need of the passport, reapply and go for maitama(56k)

I can't really say...it is like affidavit can stand in its place...or u can just do another one

We collected our passports yesterday at abeokuta. Got there by 8am. While in the reception, names were randomly been called...they started from O.

We moved to the hall, and they continued with O. Later to A, we didn't hear our names...past 3 already.

We went to meet an officer, gave her our notes.
Lo and behold, she brought out our passports and we were called in for activation. Left there by 3.30pm.
