Your sponsor or your account should demonstrate that you can afford a full year fees including accommodation, living expenses and maintenance atleast for 1-2 years. The embassy does not specify any fixed amount to secure a visa, however, in general the consular officer do maths with 1-2 years cost as stated above to see that you can afford studying abroad without overly dependent on working.

Please do one still need to do document attestation? What and what should it contain?

Both ministries to avoid stories. Ministry of education is the main one but sometime just to avoid delay you can take also to MFA.
Re: North Cyprus: Part 2 by Gluwy: 2:25pm On Jun 16, 2021
Thank you for your time in explaining. Please how do I get the 3 entities assured?

Also do I still need the fed ministry of interior and fed ministry of education to confirm my documents? Please how do I go about it? Thank you

There are very important things that travelers using OKTB must be aware which is missing in your abstract. It will be nice to present the positive and negative outlook of things so the users can be well-informed.

So I will write it down here in conjuction with your earlier positive aspects of OKTB.

1. OKTB on a general note is more expensive than using a visa since for a visa, you may still be able to use one-way ticket which can be cheaper depending on time of flight and airline.

2. Like visa (having a valid visa does not mean you are 100% guranteed entry to any country), same with OKTB. So, OKTB needs to be assured by 3 entities in case of TRNC. It must be legally approved from the airport of departure in Nigeria, must be assured with authorities in Istanbul (Turkey) and Authority in Lefkosia (TRNC). Many fraudulent agents sometimes dont get the approval from Turkey and TRNC and bribed off their ways from Nigeria which often results in deportation of the traveler.

3. If traveler using OKTB misses his/her flight and will need to rebook another flight.....it means that OKTB has gone and must be reprocessed again making it more costlier in that case.

Best wishes

Why do you still want me to shed light on it ? Since you already heard the degrees obtained is not recognized. Why not you just apply to countries like USA, UK or any European, Asian or African countries ?

Best wishes in your educational pursuit!

NB: He only has 'O' level qualification.

Your younger brother should visit the university websites in those countries and apply or visit NL thread regarding those mentioned countries.

This thread is mainly for genuine students wanting to study and complete their education in North Cyprus.

You need to improve your education quality-wise and read and respond with greater caution.

I am a highly trained scientist, specifically a research professor; as a result of my education, I do not answer until I have fully comprehended the situation, at which point I will offer a solution or response.

If you're well-educated, you'll see that I asked the poster two questions, which I'll repeat here:

— Why do you still want me to shed light on it?

—Why not you just apply to countries like the USA, UK or any European, Asian or African countries?

When a question mark appears after some words in English, it denotes a QUESTION that requires an answer.

When the questions have been answered and I have a clear understanding of the problem, I will respond if it is worth responding to.

The degrees from universities in Northern Cyprus is globally recognized with higher recognition than majority of universities in Africa which is reflected in number of accreditation bodies, ranking and profile and infrastructural development.

If you visit Each university in North Cyprus; you will find a page that specifies organizations, accreditation bodies and institutions recognizing such university

See below for a link to EMU recognition, you can read as well and many other universities in TRNC have shown on their website as well.

To summarize; below are African graduates from EMU excelling in Nigeria, Canada and the UK.

Note: Salihu earned UG degree at EMU and was among the youngest Assistant professor in the UK during his time. Visit the news article of EMU to read more.

Best wishes

Nothing unprofessional here, you can't force people to do what you want, typical entitlement mentality of Nigerians.

Like Wip7 said, this is for Genuine candidates intending to study in TRNC, if you want to fly to Canada, US or UK please fly out of this thread.
