Thank you very much, This is very helpful

Good day @ireneayeni

You can't pay an application fee with a naira MasterCard the limit is 100usd and you are paying an application of 235usd.

You either get a dormicilary account or a flutter wave batter account fund it with dollar and pay.

You get someone you trust(maybe a relative) abroad to pay for you.

Hope this helps.

This isn't true. Canada is intentional about reuniting families. In fact, a new office was recently opened in Nova Scotia to handle only spousal open work permit in order to speed up the process of reuniting families.
Applying together with your husband at this moment might give the visa officer the impression that you all want to leave your country. Hence, will take a lot of convincing for the visa officer to believe you won't leave Canada at th end of your study.
You are on the right track.

thanks so much

It's relatively late.

However, No harm in trying if you have all your supporting documentation available. Also it would do more good if you are submitting with mybankstatement and IELTS for NSE.

It's shouldn't pass this June!

Hello Wole24,

As long as the funds belong to your spouse and the funds in the cooperative savings record bears your spouse's information as the name on her travel document, supply the necessary evidence or authorized liquidation documents or redemption certificate as proof of trace for the inflow into your spouse's BA.

It is also reasonable to present your POF if your spouse will act as a sponsor or as the case may be.

Best of Luck
Thanks so much for your response. Please I don't understand the meaning of authorized liquidation documents or redemption certificate in this context. Plsssss can u explain? Thanks alot.

Hello Enjay316,

For the study route, IRCC rarely verifies employment or calls the employer for verification.

However, the officer can decide to act based on caprice and wit if there is obvious disparity.

If the officer is not so sure about the legitimacy of the employment, updated information like salary record and payslip will be requested.

Best of Luck
ok.thanks for ur response. but this information will be requested from me na not from my company

Hello house,
Please I need your responses on this
I have uploaded my international passport on the specified place where it is being requested for on my application page, I want to ask if I should include it again under the client information?
Thank you.
To the bolded NO!!!

If you have Travel History (that is, if you have travelled outside Nigeria before) and your INTERNATIONAL Passport is stamped for those countries you travelled to, upload the STAMPED PAGES on your CLIENT INFORMATION to show your TRAVEL HISTORY

Hello guys.
Will I still be able to get NSE request if the closing amount of the SOA is 20million but during the six months there was a time the amount in the account was 5million then 10million and 30,000?
I heard the minimum of 10million must have been constant and not less even though the amount in the account presently is 20million naira.

You can send it too. It's a good document for study permit, though I don't know if it's gonna give any additional advantage.
If you want to send it to IRCC, use the IRCC webform. Select Nairobi Visa Office as the destination. Enrollment Letter is also necessary, currently, when you want to travel. It's among the documents you will show at your Port of Departure and Port of Entry

You can but not sure if it’s impact.

I only know you need it before you can travel that’s if you’ve been given a visa.

Hi guys,
Please I need clarification on the types of Canadian students visa for Nigerians.
From my research I have heard of NSE and SDS.
Concerning that of NSE, I heard that one of the requirements for applying is the IELTS.
Please how true is this.?

Secondly what are the required documents and steps for someone just starting a visa application after getting admission.?

Thanks for your anticipated reply.

Dear Gurus,

Please, I need your advice on how to proceed with my application.

I submitted my application May 8, 2021 and I attached the following supporting docs:

1. Regular bank account ( in spouse name however we are both signatories)
2. Reference letter from the bank
3. Receipt of tuition payment $CAD 8950 for first semester.
4. Consent letter from spouse
5. SOP
6. BSC certificate
7. Police certificate
8. Upfront medical
9. Employment contract
10. Promotion letter
11. Travel history ( United State)
12. Family pics
13. House and landed properties

Since the date of submission, I am yet to get any response from IRCC. Can I change the submitted bank statement and replace with mybankstatement? Similarly, I did not submit IELTS because I have 5.5 in listening, can I as well submit it like that?

Thank you,

For March applicants that eligibility review hasn't started on your GCKey account, please keep calm, work is going on, and eligibility has started but not updated yet.

I mailed Windsor's MP to find out about the status of my application, and last night, I was forwarded the email from IRCC which states;

-The application was received at the Canadian visa office in Nairobi, Kenya, on March 11, 2021.

-The criminality verifications (biometrics) are passed.

-The responsible office is currently reviewing the application and documents submitted to determine if the applicant meets the eligibility requirements for a study permit.

N.B: My GCKey shows that eligibility review hasn't begun. So let's keep hopes high #Happy Weekend Canada pipu
