Better to live in a weak Republic like Lesotho than endure the mindless human slaughter going on in Nigeria . One Nigeria is a crime against humanity. |

Op is the kind of person content with living a life of mediocrity. Imagine the gains from belonging in Nigeria is ability to ban twitter. What load of nonsense. A giant of africa that is the 2 poorest nation in the world, that can't give accurate data on it's population, no of unemployed, birth or death rates, a nation that can't provide basic infrastructure needed for industralization, a nation still building ajakuota since 1978. A nation that can't feed its citizens, can't create jobs, can't protect it's farmers etc. This is the kind of nation some parasites like the op is content with. A life of mediocrity, zero contribution to humanity. |

History555:Oh, that's just your inferiority complex talking. YOU may have not contributed anything to humanity, but I can assure you that a great many Nigerians have, and will do, well into the future. Here's a word of advice: Be like the Indians, who share our development challenges, but who see them not as reasons to hate and despise their country, but as business opportunities. Your country can't create jobs? Well YOU go on YouTube, learn a skill for free, start a small business, and end up big, employing 100 Nigerians. Many have done something similar here in Nigeria. Why can't YOU? Your junior launched a startup called Paystack in Yaba, Lagos, which was acquired a couple months ago by US giant tech platform Stripe, for 200 million dollars. So, great things are happening in Nigeria. Will YOU be part of them, or will you remain disgruntled, sitting on the fence, pointing fingers and being useless? |

Rossiminku:Your references for buttressing your points are not only myopic, but laughable. Let me bring you back to your senses as it is clear you are either deluded or clearly running away from facts! 1. Liberia vs Nigeria: Economic Indicators Comparison Nigeria with a GDP of $397.3B ranked the 32nd largest economy in the world, while Liberia ranked 164th with $3.3B. By GDP 5-years average growth and GDP per capita, Nigeria and Liberia ranked 132nd vs 161st and 149th vs 186th, respectively. 2. Exports- Liberia $774.80 million Ranked 156th. Nigeria $95.68 billion Ranked 38th. 123 times more than Liberia. 3. Gross National Income Liberia $459.13 million Ranked 143th. Nigeria $37.13 billion Ranked 48th. 81 times more than Liberia. Most of you supporting this government lack basic critical thinking as you guys are either dealing with extreme psychological disorders or just plain stupidd to make foolish comparisons with sister nations forgetting that Nigeria was once the giant of Africa and the only country financing the AU in the 60’s to early 90’s. |

The only set of people that wants Nigeria to remain one are the northerners and middle belters, the middle belters because they do not want to be swallowed by the terrorist north and I can bet this op is a middle belter. How can a country progress without security? Everyday you see news like 500 students kidnapped, 150 farmers butchered, 80 villagers killed, tanker explosion kills 50. Are these the kind of news to give us relief in this country, a country where one is running from army, police, bandits, herdsmen, fulani, kidnappers, cultists, ritual pastors and imams, yahoo Boys etc. This country should be included in the 1000 ways to die, surviving in this country is only by the grace of God. |

I used to believe in Nigeria, sadly I wanted Gej gone and pmb in, it the one thing in this life I wish I could take back The good thing is his government has shown us nigeria as it really is A failed state, a country without a future, a space that kills it's own, robs it's citizens and continuously impoverishes them Ever wondered why the country never progresses , always backwards, same contracts still awarded after been awarded over a decade ago I have come to the conclusion that those in power have intentionally put the country and her people under for their personal benefit and as such the only way to progress is to Split into as many parts as possible If we want a united nigeria 1. It must be regional with each region in full control of her resources, security etc else Nigeria is dead and gone 2. Everyone in government past and present must be tried for crimes against Nigerians 3. The Assets sold to their cronies must be retrieved 4. Everyone that has been a victim of the rulers and the failed state must be compensated 5. Finally we will end the current constitution and everyone will be involved in the new one |

Rossiminku:bro go and make your findings, Rwanda is doing better than Nigeria. The problem of Nigeria and Nigerians is self deception, parading themselves as giant of Africa yet no basic amenities. Countries like Rwanda Botswana and Namibia has national carriers yet your big for nothing has none. |

Rossiminku:Oil dey your head. Almost everyone demanding for self rule are temporarily frustrated with the situation of things, not really because of agitation as a result of Identity. Watch a person with nuff spine and will take the lead, as see the silence in those agitations. Tbh, I love this country. I really do not want this country to break, irrespective of anything. What most people think is breaking away to form independent countries will ultimately solve their problems, it will still stay the same if we as countrymen refuse to change our ways that set us back and make us less human. We really need to be kind to each other first, we need to love and understand each other more, and we need a change of heart first. I find so much joy in an ibo man or an hausa man doing well far from his home in another land, so also I find so much joy in a yoruba man doing well in another man's land far from his own home. We really need each other. This politicians knows play mind games on us, they feast fat on our own selfishness and greed, and that's what is stagnating us the more. The evil we do our fellow countrymen is far worse than what those at the helms of affairs do to us, even though it's a consequence of their own inhumanity to their own countrymen. If need be, we should all go back to regional system that allows each region to move at it's own pace, according to the resources it has at it's disposal. |

Oga there is no need to be pessimistic, like i said in your other thread, everyone will answer his father's name so there will be nothing like weak or strong nations .What happens to the Biafra nation should not be of any concern to the Oduduwa or Areas nations etc. |

Rossiminku:What you are saying is real and good but you can't base a country's growth by its population growth, these people that you are saying will be born, where will they see the money and resources to purchase these goods and make Nigeria a competitive and big market, even new and small countries can increase in population and there by their purchasing power will become so strong, i only support this issue of Biafra because of how the elites have reduced this country's economy to nothing, if security can be fixed, economy fixed to raise the standard of living of the common man, this present constitution removed and a new one enacted, and tribe and region abolished in the new constitution and everyone will be recognized as Nigerians without discrimination in appointment of officials into the government and a rotational presidency, if these can be done within a year, believe you me, secession will die a natural death in Nigeria, but its better to belong to a tiny country where there will be employment, equity, fairness, justice and where every leader will be held accountable to their actions when in office than to be a Nigerian at the moment |

In a country where an Igbo man is not allowed to rule the country. Nigeria can go to hell. I prefer a country where my people can aspire to the highest office of the land. Not a country where we are not in control of our destiny because my people are kept out of the corridors of power. I choose Biafra any day anytime. |

engrchykae:You ALREADY have a dictator. He ordered you all not to leave your houses on the day he commanded or get shot! Do you think Kanu is the type to submit to free and fair elections? I mean, from your rebel leaders' conduct, we can already see the type of governments you will have. Like something out of the Mobutu era. ![]() |

Obindigbo:If you are not able to hold your state government to account today, how will you be able to hold your new small country's govt to account? Are you aware the leadership will comprise pretty much the SAME people leading your state today? In the new country, they will have the added benefit of full control of the military, so how will you hold them to account? You are very naive in thinking that corruption will cease just because you have a new small country. If anything, it will become easier. And there will be no EFCC. |
