The FG has no authority to approve referendum. It has to be written in the constitution first, before it can be legal.

Referendum has been conducted twice in Nigeria without referendum ever being in the constitution of Nigeria. It was referendum that created the midwest Region in the 60's. It was referendum that made Adamawa part of Nigeria

It takes the national assembly just few weeks to pass a resolution in that respect, like they did in 2010 and made Good luck acting president. It doesn't need rewriting the constitution.

Referandum can never take place in this Country. The North wont allow that and the will never give Biafra their independence.
