You contribute nothing to your salvation except the sin that made it necessary.

Does God give saving faith? And does that mean He gives it to some and not to others?

Answer is yes

Ephesians 2:8
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God.

Some say that both the grace and the faith mentioned in this verse are gifts. Others say the verse refers to grace alone as the gift of salvation


I believe both are gift because if there was anything man can contribute to salvation then he has something to boast about therefore the death of Christ has no pure value

But we know the death has complete value and only through what Jesus did can one attain everlasting life

Since it is God who decides who is to be saved.
And it is by His Grace that anyone is able to remain saved.
If it is all simply by faith which is a gift from God.

It does not exonerate any one but should bring the fear of God in every one to understand that they need God once you see u really need God then bam you are included in his divine will all this is to make us humble not to question our maker in his choice

It simply showing you that u need God and when you see you need God

Then God will come and tabarnacle with you

Without God you can do nothing when it comes to the things of God

He also said a porter has the right to make some vessel honorable and others dis honorable

He that is from God over comes okeysoninv
