Tweeter is not even suitable for that, it's best suited for banters, trends and hastags... Facebook and Instagram is for engagements, pre-weddings, weddings and whatnots.

You've already said it. Linked in is a website for professional networking. Posting of wedding pictures began as younger people started coming on to the platform with their facebook, instagram and tiktok orientation.

p.S. The idea of linkedin is not for you to feel tension but to get inspiration and find motivation.

LinkedIn is strictly for professional engagements please.

Social engagements can be posted on other social media.

It gets me upset when I see people posting personal information on LinkedIn when the main purpose for which the website was developed, is to establish professional connections, for the purpose of career advancements.

Let's please avoid this trivialization of the very important concept for which LinkedIn was developed.

A lot of other social media apps exist for the fulfillment of narcissistic cravings. LinkedIn shouldn't be one of them.

PDA is nonsense especially with a nija woman. But some employers prefer dealing with married people cos they feel it indicates a person's level of responsibility.

Linkedin is not the appropriate platform to post engagement and wedding pictures. It's a professional platform geared towards career goals and development.

I stopped opening LinkedIn cos of the "tensioning" going on in that cyberspace. Gosh, that place was too monotonous for my liking. However now, people have started posting things about Testimonies, birthdays, weddings etc.

Back to the main question, Love can be found anywhere. So if someone meets Career bae from LinkedIn, sure why not post engagement pictures? After all, it's still part of social media.

It is a business platform designed for jobseekers and people that want to maintain engagement with their past working colleagues. Linkedin is designed to sell your best qualities as a professional, post information about your working experience and not your social life

Only an idiot will post engagement pictures on Linkedin. Nigeria need to learn how to behave on social media

You are on LinkedIn to market your professional abilities, so if you climb Mount Everest, then please share your stories and how you overcame that challenge as it will demonstrate leadership skills and overcoming adversity.

Personal stories about your marriage, the owambe parties you visit and your family accomplishments are not related to your professional accomplishment if they are not linked to your professional abilities.

For example, visiting an event or a seminar can be shared as your ability to engage, network and communicate with the wider public.
