Good morning my people. Long post alert.

Firstly, I’ll like to thank Almighty God for coming through for me. I just got PPR.

Timeline
Did upfront medicals: March 28 (IOM)
Applied: April 7th
Background check started immediately
Biometrics updated: April 12th
Medicals updated to passed: April 13th
Eligibility review started: Around April 28 (I didn’t note this, it was until I discovered this thread I knew it was noteworthy)
Orders GCMS notes: June 11
Emails and web forms to Lagos and Nairobi: June 16
Bvl and PPR: June 23 (7:50am)

First time applicant.
I discovered this thread after I had applied and I immediately noticed some mistakes….. I didn’t submit my BSc transcript and I had lump sums moved to my dom account, although I briefly stated that the funds were transferred by my immediate family members in my LOE (this was verifiable from the statement’s inflow) and I also had almost zero outflow on the account.

I submitted personal MBS, papers statements of my sponsor and IELTS with my application so there was no NSE request.
My brother is a Canadian PR and he is my sponsor. I had tuition for 1 year and flight money in my GTB Dom account and he had my 10k CAD living cost set aside in a savings account of his.

I’m 25 years old and my program starts in August. For home ties, I used a property that was gifted to me by my mum, my parents and my job. Although I had worked for just 1.5 months before my application for study permit. My application for study leave was approved by my employer, to take effect from August.

When I saw that people who applied after me were getting PPR requests, I started to lose faith. My mum saw I was down, prayed with me and I felt enlightened again. I want to encourage you all to keep the hope high. God will do it.

Congratulations !!!!

Hello House,

I got my GCMS note this morning, i have applied since march 7th and also submitted NSE document after they requested for it. I did medicals in April and it was updated to pass on the 14 of June. can someone explain what the snapshot below means. My application is over 3 month.

When did you apply for your note (maybe that could justify why the eligibility section is blank).

And which service provider did you use?

PLEASE HELP !!!

Good Afternoon everyone , for those of us that are finding it difficult to pay after booking .. What is the evidence required to show at the clinic on appointment day please? Thank you

I want to thank everyone on this platform. I’ve learnt a lot by reading messages here, as I now understand things about the process which I initially didn’t know. I also appreciate everyone who carried us along by sharing their timelines, it was very helpful.

I pray all still waiting for PPR would get positive decisions on time. May God come through for us all.

Finally, I want to encourage all those who are reapplying, don’t give up, there’s nothing too big for God. Commit the situation to his hands, order your gcms notes and table the reason for the delay here on this thread. This is one big family, I personally would contribute in my own little way by making suggestions, and I know everyone else, including the gurus would do the same.

I’m guessing you used Qlife right?
Anyone who used Qlife should kindly assist.
Thanks.

If it’s IOM, you’ll pay into a bank account and go along with your hard copy receipt.

Good morning,

Please I applied as a bachelor on May 11, just to meet up with the May 15th caveat.

I'm now married, do I need to send the marriage certificate via web form? hope that won't cause a delay in verification and approval?

Regards

Hi All,
Please i need your support this time.

1. Someone please advise list of schools we can choose for admission.

2. Is English Language test now compulsory for all applicants? Applicant's first degree is English/Literature.

Lekiboboe:

A PG. Cert program in a Telecommunications related field shows more progression than a Diploma program owing to the fact that you are B.SC holder.

That being said,
What is your Job position & what are your Job Duties in the Telecommunication company for the past 6-years?

Your response to the above question would determine the potential PG. Cert program you can go for or fit in to

Basically Customer care executive with job rotation experience in some department within the company

Thank you @JustMellow. Already working on it.
JustMellow:

Hello Draybaba0103,

You can check out some courses like Network and IT Security, Cyber Security, Data Science & Analytics, etc.

You can as well check:

• Fanshawe College's Software and Information Systems

• Conestoga College's Information Technolgy Network Security

• Cambrian College's Cloud Computing

• Humber College Information Technology Solutions

If your employer is not willing to show commitment, opt for a regular sponsor. The documents required for organization sponsorship are the same as self-employed sponsors. Use the search bar, you will get a handful of document lists.

Best of Luck
