when you were younger, what were the things you aimed to achieve as a man before getting married

Get a job doing and once you have a steady income, you have passed marriage Jamb

Get a woman who is willing to live you and see you as a friend, if you can achieve this, then yu have passed post UTME

Get married to her and that means getting admitted into the institution called marriage

Financial,Emotional,Spiritual,Physiological maturity

Emotional stable

Average financially

Self independent most especially when it comes to some decisions making

Psychologically cos things are not what they seem to claim/be

Be sure before making the decision cos so many have forgotten their child hood dreams just because of being in a bad marriage

1. You must have a source of livelihood (not necessarily a salary job. But income must atleast to some extent be constant)

2. You must have a house that offers you and your woman some privacy. (Some people are lucky, their family members rent a flat for the intending husband. Some others get a house as a gift a week before the wedding)

3. You must be patient with your wife. ( See her as a younger sister you can not fight. She'll make mistakes, try as much as possible not to correct her. Learn to over look.

4. You'll need a TV, 1 Family size bed ( I think it cost 55k or so), Standing fan, ceiling fan ( you don't need AC at the moment). you'll need 12kg gas cylinder, 2 or 4 phase table top gas stove.

5. You must have a sense of protection because you are about to become the head of a family and must learn to protect your wife. You must learn kungFu if you can't afford a gun. Peradventure Boko Haram comes visiting
