BrandSpurNG: My take on this: 1 Passengers patronage dipped. 2 Revenue spiked. 3 Cargo transport volume dropped. Conclusion * Inflation biting harder * Cost of living becoming unbearable for Nigerians. * Rail transport excessively expensive * Nigerians exploring other cheaper form of transport * Mass transit system in Nigeria is a fraud. |

I noticed people are becoming less toxic and negative on nairaland, clearly we are all observing the change in governance and not blinded by hate, I pray our next presidential leader raises the bar higher for a better feat, congratulations African Giants. Gradually those on the other end of the tunnel will realize positive reviews are another form of economic development. |

SmartPolician: If you read the contents properly, you'd have known that the increase came as a result of the increase in the price of rail transportation and the reduction in the number of passenger traffic. All these because of the galloping inflation this administration has wrought upon us despite high oil prices. All these Buhari praise singers should grow some sense |

winterfell007: People stood in queues hours to vote for a Buhari, who doesn't know his right from the left. I have grown beyond complaining. My biggest concern is 2023 because it's likely to happen again. |

BrandSpurNG: When you thinking Railways in Africa, Nigeria does not rank anywhere near Morrocco. Apart from Titus Sardine, Nigeria has a lot to learn from Morrocco and their rail project. https://www.moroccoworldnews.com/2020/12/329637/minister-moroccos-high-speed-rail-expansion-projects-require-11-billion |
