Good news, may God grant our leaders in all level of government the wisdom and grace to use our God given resources to upgrade Nigeria to the first world ,I hate traveling abroad ,the discrimination of racists in Europe is a turn off for me,I have prayed to God to bless Me more and more in southeast ...Stop hating on your country and leaders ,do your best to improve your life in a legal hustle ..negative mindset will always retard both your spiritual growth in wisdom of God and even material growth ..be positive about yourself and your country and see yourself prospering ...though the increase is due to inflation but what if those in charge stole the money like PDP were doing ,we wouldn't have seen it ,so it is good news to me

My take on this:

1 Passengers patronage dipped.

2 Revenue spiked.

3 Cargo transport volume dropped.


Conclusion

* Inflation biting harder
* Cost of living becoming unbearable for Nigerians.
* Rail transport excessively expensive
* Nigerians exploring other cheaper form of transport
* Mass transit system in Nigeria is a fraud.

I noticed people are becoming less toxic and negative on nairaland, clearly we are all observing the change in governance and not blinded by hate, I pray our next presidential leader raises the bar higher for a better feat, congratulations African Giants.

The same train charging 3500 for Lagos - ibadan while buses charge 1000 from Berger-ibadan.
There's something fishy

The price will come down later. I prefer it for comfort and safety compare with those buses that overspeeds.

All these because of the galloping inflation this administration has wrought upon us despite high oil prices.

My biggest concern is 2023 because it's likely to happen again.
