Good day, please anyone with the idea of food exportation should help me. I have been trying to get information about it but to no avail. I am into the selling of Yam flour, Shea butter and honey. Thank you.

Start with contacting any acquaintance you have/know abroad to know their needs.

You may need to get licensing of the exports, like a clearance before sending anything.

Some countries do not allow some agricultural materials, so do some researching or the items may land safely but would be destroyed upon entry into the country.

Invest in weighing scales and packaging equipment like hot sealing machine, nylon wrapping etc.

Other pros will be here soon to help out too...

Its a highly lucrative business if you get your logistics and market target right.

Cheers.

Thank you for your response. I really appreciate. I'm still doing research. Am I the only person that doesn't know/have anyone abroad? smiley smiley

You can try making friends online with a Nigerian based abroad. Get into a plain conversation like exchanging pleasantries, after the person gets a bit comfortable, you can ask questions about how do they go about getting African dishes etc. Whatever the response you can offer to help exporting some of the items difficult to get etc...

It's a long ride but there just got to be a way out!

It was my pleasure.

My elder sister and family relocated permanently out of the country last week. I am on my way out too. Maybe we could become your first set of customers. Who knows...

Please just have us in your prayers.

Cheers.

God will perfect everything for you and make things easy for you. I'm happy for you and yours.
Can I say I'm about to know someone abroad?
