Which races? The ability to turn sharp corners at top speed is everything. Otherwise it easy to stick an a jet engine in a car. Racing cars don't normally slow down on corners; they turn the car steering at the same high speed. Don't think it's typical driving where you slow down every corner...you turn corners by left braking while the accelerator is on the other foot...so the car slides and turn at high speed....force travel in straightline - and that is important technique that rally drivers must master.

There is a lot that is different in driving a racing car and driving your car. First thing I told is how to turn corners without losing speed...and you do that by left-foot braking - with other foot on the accelerator - I know it doesn't make sense to a slowpoke like you - but at nearly all times - the racing car has the accelerator foot on - so you don't lose time- the driver main job is to flatten all the corners and turns - and make it a straight line - timing when and where to left or right foot break with the accelerator pedal on.

Proper speed and drift racing's are held on obstacle tracks like you see in Ghana and other African countries....

You only drift if you try it with your old Audi. If you're driving a proper racing car - which do not exist in Ghana - you won't drift unless you're untrained. That is why racing cars are more than horsepower and torgues - it about steering, tires, suspension and entire chasis. It not about stepping on the accelerator. To drive at 250-300 kms per hour in rough road in tough corners is not a joke.

You see you probably never seen a racing competition like nearly every kenya has seen.

We grew up seeing legend like Collins Mcrae - driving his subaru to ridicolous speed. Again you need to see how those cars turn corners - --before you see - they are gone. That is why they remove exhaust and make as loud as possible to warn you to get the hell out.
