Guys, I need help ...

My C240 is guzzling fuel...so under mixture enrichment cold if you look at the fuel consumption display it shows it should consume approx. 40.0 litres/100Km. Fully warmed up on a flat road over maybe 10 kilometers it shows approx. 21.3litres/100 Km.

What could be wrong? I understand when it's cold, it should be around approx. 16.0 litres/100Km and approx. 9.3 litres/100Km when warmed up.

What are the possible things to check?

Please help.

Hmm. May be the nuzzles, a bad spark plugs,flat tyres, e.t.c y not give it to a qualified technician

I've tried some. Have you got a very good Benz technician?

either the airflow/ injector, the nuzzles have to be checked. If you were at Asaba in Delta state, there are very qualified technician this way

Scan the car if there is any check light

Scan the car and post the results here for proper diagnosis and solution. Secondly, did the problem just start or that's how the car has been since you bought it?
