Update:

Application submitted 9th May with upfront medicals and IELTS.
Biometrics 10th May.
Since then, no further update whatsoever, just silence.
I was just reading up on how to request for GCMS note this week.
Then, checked my profile this morning to see Medicals updated to pass 28th June and the Original Passport Request and Correspondence letter dropped in my profile this morning (29th June).

I must thank @Lekiboboe especially for looking at my SOP twice. God Bless you man!.
Thanks to everyone supporting this platform with helpful tips and guides.

Also; I want to confirm if a single dose of the vaccine qualifies one for quarantine waiver or one must complete both jabs before a waiver is possible?

Same here. Medical passed since June 14 after receiving medical request. Apparently, there is no timeline.
From people’s past experience... it takes about a month

The clinic submits all Medical results to IRCC, so its not necessary you submit it to them, but if you wanna still submit, you can upload the medical slip that will be given you in the clinic through the webform and also you can send it as an attachment to the email address of the Visa office handling your application. Here are the addresses of the several offices Ldnimmigration@international.gc.ca, lagos.immigration@international.gc.ca, LAGOSIMMIGRATION@international.gc.ca. And if your application is in the Nairobi Office, the you can send it to the Nairobi office through their WEBFORM https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/contact-ircc/offices/international-visa-offices.html Peace

How I responded:

@onomss, it depends on the additional document/s they are asking for.
I submitted my application with IELTS, so the request was solely for mybankstatement certificate. Since my financial sponsors are UK residents, I just explained in the letter that the request does not apply to me and that they should go ahead and review my application bearing in mind that my app has long exceeded the stipulated processing time on their website and also my resumption date is 7th September.

How I uploaded:

I typed my letter in ms word, saved and converted it to pdf. Then I logged into my CIC account and on my dashboard I clicked on “Check full application status”.
Then clicked on “View submitted application or upload documents”.
The next page will show “Documents submitted by the client”.
Go to the section asking for additional/replacement document and click on “upload document”.
It will take you to where you will upload the saved pdf document. After the upload, select the “Next” button at the bottom of the page to sign and submit by clicking the transmission button.

Good morning gurus, this is my first time posting, I actually applied on May 12th, did my biometrics may 21 and passed upfront medicals June 21, but I didn't get request for NSE route, hope its not a bad sign?

I also paid part fees and I sent receipt from school through lagos webform, but seeing people talking more about Nairobi office. Should I still forward to Nairobi office?
Please I need clarifications

You are required to take covid 19 test 72hrs before traveling and another one at port of entry so yes it’s mandatory.

IMHO, you can still forward to Nairobi office, no harm done. Las, las, it will help in bringing your application to the attention of the visa office in charge of your application.
