Frankrobbn1:

From the wisdom of my vast experiences dealing with several immigration applications to Canada, it is normal for IRCC to approve the principal applicant first before considering the other dependents. I have seen this happen on several occasions and have also observed first-hand a scenario whereby the spouse and the principal applicant were approved while the dependent children were denied. There is no blueprint that works for Canadian immigration processes and the format is not clearly spelled out by the authorities. As a result, should you keep sending emails to IRCC, they might not act fast on your family's application. The best practicable way of getting their attention to finalize processing of your family's application, is to reach out to a Member of Parliament (MP) within the jurisdiction where your school is situated in Canada. It was through the same means we were able to get the dependent children's application approved after a refusal as the visa officer was queried for his wrong assessment and the application was later changed from "refused" to "submitted" and at a subsequent time PPR was issued.

I would want to throw an intelligent question to you so as to broaden your expectations. Did you apply for a Spousal Open Work Permit (SOWP) for your husband? If yes, he will require a travel authorisation letter from IRCC to accompany you to Canada and there is a seperate IRCC email for this purpose. However, on the account that you've filed for a visitor's application for him, his application will not be processed following the Canadian immigration procedures on ground due to travel restrictions on non-essential travellers.

I hope this information is helpful to your enquiry. All the best with your family's application.

It will end in praise

How can I get Member of Parliament (MP) for fanshawe college London Ontario?

Congrats to all the ppr holders, dear all I'm sorry to rain on your parade, my friend just got a refusal today. 2nd time applicant. He's 27. Has a sister schooling in Canada.
1st refusal
• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on your family ties in Canada and in your country of residence.
• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on the purpose of your visit.
2nd refusal
Now they’re saying that they’re not sure he'd come back based on his personal assets and financial status
Please gurus help, anybody please

I can see your last page on eligibility states " interview recommended" which in most cases translates to Approved Study Permit.

Your approval is 99% certain. Congratulations in advance.

Please can someone clarify something? When IRCC says they must receive a document by 30 days does that mean that you have 30 days to upload it ? Or does it mean they must receive it within 30 days? Because I uploaded a custodian declaration form and they said the deadline was 3rd of July. The document status has been on 'Uploaded' since and I'm worried they won't receive it before Saturday. Should I be worried or remain calm?

Soft landing gist
I booked Ethiopian airline for 1:40pm.
I said my final goodbyes and moved to the airport. I got there by 9:30 thinking I’m late because of the story I read here as per queue but there wasn’t any.
They didn’t allow my husband to enter and I had to tip them 500.
We proceeded to where they were suppose to check my bag but the woman asked for money n we moved to declare agricultural product, I had just one bag and I paid 2,000.

Next was to get my boarding pass. My bag was 43kg and so didn’t need to pay but paid 1000 to wrap my Ghana must go that had my foodstuffs.

I was asked for my passport , enrollment letter , arrive can , hotel for quarantine and COVID-19test result.

For all PPR hopeful , I wish everyone nothing but good news.
Amen.

Thank God for a safe flight and may the land of Canada favour you.

Thanks a lot for this landing gist, it gives HOPE!

[Why don't you apply for study loan? Mpower to be precise. author=Mcilfero post=103102099]Hello Nairalanders. I have been following for a while now. I have had admission since February (M.A Communication at MSVU) but proof of funds has been a major problem up till now. I have no sponsor who has that kind of money and neither do I have that money as well as I am currently unemployed. I feel pained mostly because among those we applied together, my admission came first and I have even helped another person process admission after mine and those people are currently applying even in other countries ( I have asked questions on their behalf many times on this forum) I do not want this to go like this now that it's my turn. I am open to helps, suggestions and advices. Please if you have contact of anyone who can help, please do not hesitate to drop them for my sake Sirs &Mas. God bless you[/quote]

My status is 'The additional documents you provided have been uploaded'. How long will it take to change to 'We have received the documents you provided'?

Congrats to all PPR recipients. I am new here and I hope this gets posted.

May applicant: my admission letter was suppose to be fall but before ircc reduced processing time I as scared I won't make fall, so I told the school to give me letter for January 2022 instead (they had not issued for fall then).
Now I think my application may not be treated soon because I am not for fall (or am I overthinking it?) meanwhile when I asked school fora new admission letter for fall they said if I get visa before fall they are willing to consider.

I really wouldn't mind fall resumption, should I still ask school for another letter? Or just hope they treat my file.Eligibility yet to start.

Please I hope I get your thoughts PLEASE.
