Reno Omokri has advised men never to slap a woman even if she lands the first slap, IgbereTV reports.

He gave this piece of advice on his Twitter handle.

The lady that tried it with me,regretted it and learned the lesson of her life.She slapped me once and I gave her one blow,she fainted after she regained herself she went to police station,I was nowhere to be find,by the time she came back.It was the people that were there that settled the matter.They told the police what happened that she was the one that first slapped me and I retaliate.

No man should raise his hands on a woman no matter what,a gentleman will walk away and the woman becomes remorseful, men that hits back when a woman hits them are simply showing weakness and low self-esteem.

Instead of telling men not to slap back, tell women not to slap at all.

But as a man, violence on women, children, and other men should be channeled to productive areas. These points are very useful when you've been placed between an idiot and the deep sea. And not with women only.

And as for women, they must know that the situation of the world is very tough and very harsh on all men, and it's better they behave themselves with good demeanor in public and private spaces.

Analyse situations very well before taking any action both with women and everyone.

If you as a female can't control the urge to slap a man, don't expect the man not to retaliate

It also depends on the circumstances. If the man is slapped for what he himself knows he's indefensibly guilty of (being caught red-handed sleeping with another woman for instance), then he's not likely to slap the woman back.

I think it's easy to say "nothing can make me slap my husband", till you're faced with circumstances that will make you forget your home training.

I'll just say "I pray nothing happens that will push me that far".

This is a very thoughtful, sincere and intelligent answer. I always tell myself that I will never slap my wife (if I marry eventually), but I can think of a number of situations that could make me do otherwise.
