I saw this family of four in Mararaba yesterday close to the bridge and it was really really sad considering the State of things in Nigeria and I had to take the photo, the lady is from Yobe State and needs help to return home. I watched them eating a decomposing bread and I had to help in the little way I can. I'm creating this thread for those interested in helping them out to come together and let's see how we can help them.

Begging is their normalized way of life and they are still going to birth more children, so why bothering yourself when their people, governors see nothing wrong with such a life.

Just feel for the kids but their parents could be one of Buhari's voters.
A paint of beans currently sells for 3k as against ₦800 it used to be.

They will still vote their own come 2023.ppl are hungry, don't provoke us.

Only EDUCATED people should cast votes in Nigeria.

Thesame way students register for JAMB UTME online should be thesame way INEC permits Nigerians to obtain their voters cards online, activate their voting rights one week to election and select their Polling Unit.

These type of Say Baba people have no business casting votes.

They will always vote based on sentiments. The time of using illiterates to win elections should be over if Nigeria wants to move forward.

I felt pity upon seeing the thread topic, but as soon as I opened to see these veil wearing people, my heart felt differently.

Especially that particular mararaba bridge he is talking about. Even if you empty your account for them today you will still see them there tommorow. It's a business for them.

Ask her who she voted, asides that if you give her a job she will still return to the begging.

systemic failure and bad leadership has turn us all to be stone hearted and evil minded with pity, sympathy or empathy.

they never chose that life they resigned and settled for it when no choice. I'm equally bittered towards our leaders but still we need be heartful.

even within ourselves in the south we no longer show empathy.

I think you are a stranger to these peoples way of life.
Well I have seen worse - Crippled mom of two innocent girls and a blind father! Damn it!
Please learn to choose who you'd help wisely or someone will soon frame you as kidnapper.
As for the bolded, forget it! You will only end up seriously provoking jungle justice on yourself.
Be warned!

They CHOSE to procreate and perpetuate extreme poverty. They will still produce more children in the midst of abject lack and disabilities. So...

It is not about being stone-hearted, it is recognizing that they are people you can not change their set ways of life. That life they live has been so normalized and ingrained in their psyche that they are so convinced that this is the life.

For some of them, it is generational or haven't you seen begging families in the open that consists of grandparents, parents and children. Their communities of origin see nothing odd in such life nor their leadership, so you need to be cautious with how you may want to intervene.

Buhari should talk to his people in the language they understand, so they get off the streets as it would be more effective.

And to think that this people are more informed politically than this eye service Op beat my imagination.

We were here when the northerners were trending on Twitter, there were bragging about how there brought buhari into power. There should bear the consequences of there actions.
