They have a culture like Arabs/Indians and their bride price abi traditional rites are expensive. They use gold coins. They are more materialistic than Kanuri’s.
Is the traditional rites also expensive for Shuwa Arab men that wants to marry a Shuwa Arab lady abi is only expensive for men from other tribes in Nigeria that wants to get married to Shuwa Arab girls sad

I was thinking while I was cooking, how do we as a people help the security agencies perform their duty efficiently and I came up with this pyramid.
Explain--
The judiciary is an important arm of government that has been failing or fairly trying in it area of duty but they need to do more cos if Justice is not well served or not served they tend to motive for revenge.
2. The ARMED FORCES they are higher up the pyramid cos they are our last resort against external and internal aggressors
3. National guard - this ones are to fill in the area that is about the military and civilian population like internal insurrection. They should also be an extended arm of the armed forces and should be made up of the BORDER GUARD,COAST GUARD AND FOREST GUARD thus allowing for more efficiency in stopping the flow of arms. They will also be the major tactical unit against bandits and the likes.
4.The ministry of internal affairs - I basically just categorised all the one you meet at airport, seaport and pipeline under the ministry of internal affairs cos that is where they report to.
This guys are also an important aspect of the security architect that will help stop the flow of arms into the country.

BREAKING: ISWAP/JAS REAPPOINTS NEW LEADER

The new jihadist coalition formed between the the so-called Islamic State of West Africa Province (ISWAP ) and old members of Boko Haram JAS faction has a new leader.

Sources confirmed that Amir Abbah Gana aka Ba-Lawan was reappointed by ISIS core to lead the coalition that emerged from rival JAS fighters who recently pledged allegiance to ISIS Core under the leadership of Abu Ibrahim Al-Qurashi.

New commanders selected from both factions were also appointed days after the Nigerian army launched successful operations against the jihadist sect in Northern Nigeria.

The new appointments were spearheaded by the Interim Council of the ISWAP-Boko Haram terrorists’ group, headed by one Abu Mus’ab Al-Barnawi. Sources say the loss of key commanders from military air strikes precipitated the jihadist group to quickly réorganise it’s leadership structure which has been under suspension for months.

ISWAP restructuring is reported to be in line with a recent directive from ISIS Headquarters in Iraq.

All these will take lots of time and resources that we might not have now. The best solution to the problem of the northwest is to arm the citizens militia and subject them to government oversight. These bandits are very coordinated and the towns and villages they are laying waste too are starting to get occupied by jihadist. It's only a matter of time before the insurgency war shifts to the northwest, it is a fertile ground for the jihadist, the bandits already did the large part of the job for them and it gives them safety from the operations in the northeast. Others criminals from other countries will start moving in and before you know there will be anarchy and constant attacks.
The locals are already organizing themselves into vigilante groups to fight with crude weapons against the bandits, give them assault weapons to bridge the capability gap and see attacks reduce drastically.
Later on when, the resources is available, you can then absorb the militia into any force you want.

I just de fear say birds wey de on ground go de overworked.

PDMs of those F-7s are still ongoing, so the A-jets, L-39s, and MI-35M/Ps are always on rotation.

Let's use the supplementary budget to get our remaining sky hawks please, even if na 3

Looking at it from a national perspective that arming civilian militias won't help because we are a sensitive people when it comes to tribe and religion.
If you give those guys up north guns those down south will request for theirs and if not given they will start the anti-nepotism campaign which may spiral into something else

One day, at a market in Warri, when I was about 17 or 18yo, standing with my elder sisters and uncles, a Shuwa Arab or Tuareg father approached us and placed his green eyed daughter in my arms, telling me to keep and look after her. I would’ve have too if I had been more independent in those days not only because she was beautiful but because the situation was pathetic.
