What will make oil producing communities take 2.5% while the parasites take huge 30% cuts? This is part of biased system we are still talking about that the president and northern elites are using to split the country.

Crossriver senators will never contribute on this cos they will think it won't benefit them. I they r no longer part of the oil bearing states.
Akwaibom senators r mostly inactive now, the senator overseeing the oil bearing communities is a woman, she is thinking whether the governor will take over her seat come 2023, the only vibrant senator OBA is fighting and strategizing how to be the next govr. But i heard he also raise point of order concerning the 3percent pegged by the senate leadership.
If and when southern nigeria scale thru this evil contraption, cross river state should be annexed with benue. We dont need them..

Southern politicians are the reason why the cabal is raping this contraption called Nigeria.

I won't really blame the southern senators or representatives. First the leadership of Nass is under the a fulani and a yoruba slave.
Those who constitute these committtees r spread abnormally in favour of the northerners.
They speak in unitform voice, they know what they want, they have the numbers, out of 360 members in the HORs, they r the majority. Out of 109 senators, they r the majority.
If u put the resolution into vote, they will win.
If we really want to make these guys tow our path, we should go the bandits way.
It is simple as that... Cos an average northerner will never want to be disadvantaged in this contraption...

I agree...
We have 3 sub regions in the south, west, east and south south.
The south south is sub divided into different groups ijaws, urhogho, itsekiri, beni, opobos, anioma, efik, annang, ibibio, oron, obolo, etc..
All these groups have distinct languages and a common language which is English.
The north is diverse too, but outside their local dialect, they r united by one language HAUSA.
U go see abdulahi, musa, ahmed... These names r common in all northern states from benue, kogi, kwara, nassarawa to sokoto n jigawa.

How many years have the so called noise (climate) change been heard? Nigeria isn't even in the list of countries with very dangerous toxic and heavy gases that's causing much harm to the earth.

Southern law makers should be held responsible should any slash be made on this allocation of proposed 5% for host communities.
I will hate Abaribe if he ever speaks in favour of these incosequential bunch of brainless dullards called " the so-called Nigerdeltan" . He should focus only on Igbo matters

Not them debating what to give you in your own land... these people nah mumu

As usual it's time for the justice loving Igbos to sacrifice themselves for their wicked neighbours, na this kind situation una need them to speak up on your behalf but if they ask for your vote you will rather vote for a Fulani than Igbo.

Yet UAE & OPEC can’t come to an agreement, pushing the price of oil towards $80 per barrel? Keep deceiving yourself. Let Nigerians be fighting themselves instead from benefiting from the oil price boom. Let them also go & destroy the oil pipe lines, who is the loser?

Have you told them to account for the 2% that was given to them? Hypocrites are the ones that shout give them their oil, then tomorrow will say why are they giving them so much, was it their money the Federal Government used in developing the sector, are they not already collecting extra 13% from Federal Allocation every month? Please stop this pietism, & chasing shadows.

Leave the Governors & Senators to carry your money, after you will go & blame Northerners, keep chasing shadows like Alhaji has already told your Governors, no accountability to their people just to be shouting the money is not enough, Ok Oga state Governor how much did you generate internally & in what sectors?

We have many times said push for true federalism so that each state can explore their God given resources..

Why create an imbalance by seeking for a 30% profit from the NNPC as input into a wild goose chase for oil in the North? Why not allow these individual states prospect for hydrocarbon at their own pace and with their own framework...

That bill should be rejected by all and sundry...

The foolishness of this administration along with its support systems is alarming..
