Not surprised... Naso some directors self failed recently... Most of them secure the admission based on I have connections..

Real people with law knowledge hardly get admission..

People with money and influence in this country have destroyed almost everything..

This is serious! Almost a quarter of the entire students failed. Hope they will try to know the cause of this. Imagine having a whole quarter of law school students failing and over a quarter narrowly passing! That's like half of the whole set not having it easy.

I hope they review their system and not just assume that the students are either lazy or dull. There's obviously a fundamental problem on ground that needs to be addressed.

They failed because they were confused as what exactly is the law because the one they were thought are not working and they were like," Is there anything that we supposed to know that we don't know".

At most more than 4, 000 student pass the exam, it means there is no mass failure.
the common mystery behind examination is mostly failure.

Nigeria justice system is a failed element, a judiciary that is sending innocent unarmed IPOB family members to prisons while the real criminals and terrorist are being protected by the government and the judiciary.

Nigerian system of assessment and exams needs overhauling tbh... It has been faulty for years now.

Why is the rate of exam failure increasing these days? The same thing was recorded for jamb and others. May God help and have mercy on our youth in this their time.

With all due respect, I don't entirely agree with that submission. While that may be the reason in some cases, I don't think just generalisation is okay. There could be other issues on ground, which might be issues with the school's system of teaching, the way exams are set or marked, general wellbeing of the students themselves which might include the state of their hostels and a host of other things.

Just concluding that the IQ of the students is the issue is the generalisation that I was talking about and which will not help them to get to the root of the matter.

Actually, it is mostly Northerners who fail the bar exams. I'm speaking from personal experience of what I observed in the Abuja Campus.

I haven't done anything serious with my call to bar certificate since four years.

Those that failed shouldn't worry themselves. There's no law in this country. Forget what you're taught in law school. You will frustrated when you start practice. Even lawyers in the system know what I'm saying it's true.

Apply for visa and leave this country asap.

I even graduated with 2.1

I can see some of you saying it is BBN and ZEE world that caused the failure, some are even having a swell time... you don't understand.
This set spent less time in law school due to Covid 19 than any other set. We didn't do court attachments which was supposed to last for 3 months, after lock down was relaxed, we were rushed to write the exam after just 3 months of revision. Every course must be treated. 5 courses in total, spanning 18 to 20 weeks each.
You need to see how we did the mock exams... In Kano it was the week preceding bar finals. A time when we should be revising.
Guys it's not easy.
Let's not talk about the stress, the financial constraints...
I wish all that made it a successful career... and if you're resitting, please know that you did your best, your time will come sooner than you know it. Go harder.

It is actually an improvement when compared to last year results. The percentage pass/ failure is the most important thing.
