This happened this evening at DLA road Asaba as I was returning from office.

Policemen shot a young guy inside 4matic 300 car, carried away his dead body, arrested one and 3 ran away. They were 5 young guys inside the 4matic car as policemen were seen pursuing them with their Sienna car.

The guys were driving very fast along DLA road Asaba as police were seen pursuing them shooting at them, just close to falcon club junction, unfortunately, the guy driving hit a fence and the car stopped moving. The Policemen then stopped their own sienna car, opened fire on them, shot one of them and he died instantly, 3 of them ran away as police was approaching to them, they arrested one.

They carried the dead body of the guy they shot together with one of them alive and quickly drove away.

People gathered at the scene lamenting and crying against the killing of the young guy. People confirmed that they were innocent as they didn't see any gun, illegal items or country banned goods with the guys. Their car is still packed at the scene as of 5:37 pm.

It is against the law to flee arrest or questioning by law enforcement. That is what led to this sad situation. If u are not guilty u do not run.

Nigeria law enforcement officials are now armed robbers in disguise na so some AKS from Abuja raided my apartment in ibadan yesterday morning.. Jumped over the fence started banging the door fully armed... They accused a guy of being a kidnapper... Person we dey work for a paint making company... After searching dem no find anything o still arrested the guy... They later released him after collecting money....

They chased them cos they know the weren't armed, police get mind chase arm robber??

There is no more sars,so why not stop and allow them chop. As long as they flouted the rules,someone paid the price. I can't see a lonely road with hard looking npf make I no Roger them 2k. If only they dropped 2k ,shey police go chase them,still come out shoot at them n that accident state ,whr of cos it was the driver that would have been hit. I tried this shit sometime in 2017,I was still shaking cos I was in shock for like 3 mins. Just cos I diverted to another gate,all cos stop and search and I was having smoke and my last 5h and forgot to carry my license and gbam I hold big phone,I reason am say 2pm too early,they would use me to shine,so I diverted and pass a short cut. Not knowing tht the useless police van went to wait for me at the 2nd gate,while the other one used bike,as I was about crossing to a hill,gbam 2 okada and police van accosted me,I even felt it was sars.uckily for me,1 of them knew me. When I saw them corking their AK. God for 2.15pm,I come dey pray say make I no die o. See ppl and cars passing me by like say nothing day happen. When popo tell u to stop,u stop. And where did I say I support or praise the extrajudicial killing? I stated there are bad cops and bad citizens alike. And vice versa.

Don’t endanger ur life and others by running from arrest. Some people by trying to run from arrest have killed innocent by standers or random people. It’s as bad as the killer cops.
