Misleading headline. The article offers zero insights, just a restatement of collected opinions. And how does rotational presidency liken to the country's balkanization?

But nothing changed after the European raiders left Africa. Only the skin colour and facial features of the oppressors varied. Colonialism by aliens gave way for colonialism by natives; black-on-black oppression.

In Nigeria’s case, the worst form of colonialism steeped in prebendalism, carnivory, nepotism, tribalism, corruption and predation took root. Nigeria’s political class are a hybridised version of the European colonial masters.

Nothing could be further from the truth. Whilst reading through our history, I have long pondered that the way these so-called leaders in Nigeria have misruled the country from its inception, it was as if they were jealous of the colonial masters and sought to become them.

To start with, perhaps the agitation for an independent republic was nothing more than a power grab by these colonial natives. Perhaps the various movements for democratic rule against the military was nothing more than a bunch of thirsty and gluttonous bastards who simply wanted nothing more than to access state treasuries for themselves.

I guess the results speak for itself and its a sad, sad sight to behold. Whatever we could be as a collective is now firmly a thing of the past, whatever we can salvage we must salvage but individually in our own enclave. Nigeria was meant to fail, Nigeria has failed. Similar to how rain is wet or the sky is blue on a sunny day. The earlier we wake up from this nightmare, the better for us all!

Sometimes I wonder what is wrong with we Southerners! Imagine this long epistle sophisticatedly carved out with good lexicon just to support his own bias!
Where is this man when the northern governors forum are pushing their own agenda? What is his take on Sharia law in almost all northern states in an acclaimed secular state? Has he written like this to call out the hisbahnization of northern Nigeria?
When they in the north went destroying people's business in the name of anti-islam where was he?
Our education in the south that ought to place us above is now taking us down because of our stupidity called political correctness.
The journey to true freedom is not for the lily-livered.
If you want to criticize, be balance with it.

But this largest share couldn't help GMB in becoming the president when he was in CPC.

My apologies to say that, your critique is a bad one, riddled with hypocrisy. It shows you just want to jump on this trend, without critically analysing the importance of the meeting. I want to ask you, if the need to preserve one ethnic identity is a bad one, when it is obvious that, there exist multiple ethnic nationalities down south. Its not as if it's a yoruba or ibo or Niger delta gathering. It's a geographic one to protect our land and borders against the impunity of the herdsman, bandit Invaders that has been left unchecked for so long, that it's now spilling down south. How is this crime to defend your territory?

Now you went further in your hypocrisy and Cherry picked out of the obvious points raised during the meeting, the clamour for a southern president, you even mentioned names of northern personalities who supported a southern president for 2023. Is that to pacify us, and shut up our mouths while the beast you refuse to tame are running rampage in our backyard. Carry your president and go. How can there be a sound whole, with faulty parts? Think about that!

Out of the whole article, I think attending to the above sentence will give you the answers that you seek.

All these started when;

1. The Muslims in the north introduced sharia court. Like the sovereign law of Nigeria was no longer good for them.

2. hisbah started to destroy beers and people's businesses even when nobody forced them to buy and drink.

3. It became worse when buhari started with lopsided appointments. Focusing only on northern muslims and neglecting other.

4. Buhari called the southeast 5%.

5. Killer herdsmen are been given preferential treatment while they continue to kill our people and destroy farms.

6. Only norther muslims are employed into CBN, NNPC, FIRS, PENCOM, DPR, Judicial Commission among others.

7. Most of the oil blocs were allocated to the northern muslims while just few were left for others.

8. Northern muslim business get government backings while others suffer.

9. Souther borders were shut tight while the northern ones were flung open for fulanis to flood in.

10. Middlebelt Christians and Southerners are been forced into retirement while northern muslims get promotions.

Dude, the list is endless.

Political and religious leaders in the 12 northern sharia states started the partitioning process of Nigeria in 1999 when they adopted unconstitutional Islamic Sharia criminal laws.

Boko Haram emerged later and says that it’s fighting for a country to be governed with Islamic Sharia criminal laws.

Later, Muhammadu Buhari vowed before a large crowd of Moslems in Kaduna in 2001 that he would not stop fighting until Islamic Sharia criminal laws are used all over Nigeria.

There is nothing like partitioning ahead of 2023.. power must shift South in 2023 else the North can choose to stay on their own.

We know the kind of noise and threats they made during Goodluck Jonathan's tenure, claiming South has to give up power to North for fairness and peace to reign.
It will be in the interest of everybody if power moves South.. South West to be precise for good governance and economic progress.

Only those who can read between the lines would be able to contextualize the write-up.

The bottom line is that the political class merely replaced the colonialists.

Just like the late pop superstar Michael Jackson sang - "All I want to say is that they (POLITICIANS) don't really care about us (MASSES)".

No sir, Hausa/Fulani is not the problem, we still have great Hausa/Fulani people out there. The crisis use to be political, but now it has grown bigger wings(though still political). Unfortunately we have a president who is more concerned about religion supremacy than the welfare of his people and lacks the leadership qualities to govern people of diverse cultures and religion. A good leader like Mandella will do Nigeria a lot of good. Like it or not we are still under the colonial rule. We should fight a common enemy before our domestic battle.

Hear out this joke by Zulum: " inclusivity is very important" in 2023. So, the eyes that do nepotism and torture other regions with economic sabotage is opening up. How dare u to lashes on inclusivity in 2023 when u push only northern agenda to the fore BTW 2015 to 2023 , under Buhari.

Hypocritism!!
