I have a room for one month sublet in Montreal, very affordable. My contract with caretaker expires by August 31, but I have to leave because my spouse just arrived. Interested student/person will pay for August and then continue the contract with the caretaker. The room is $480 all inclusive...WiFi, washing machine, heater, kitchen utensils, light bill... everything. The location is 2 minutes from Jean Talon metro station, 29 minutes to McGill University and 31mintes to Concordia,15 minutes to university de Montreal. So many shops are just a walking distance including African shop. I would not have left here if not that my spouse arrived. Caretaker refused that 2 persons (even married couple) can not stay in a room... reason for leaving.
WhatsApp me on : +14388161029.

Yeah, very painful I am leaving the place, but I have no option. I can't rent different rooms for myself and my spouse.

Spouse Open Work Permit took about 3-4 months to receive back the passport.

Study leave
A study leave letter, also referred to as a leave of absence letter for study purpose is a document written by an employee to request for time off from work to pursue an academic goal. Your application for study leave should be well written and done in line with the stated policy of your organisation. (It will make sense to attached your company leave policy).

No objection certificate (NOC)
A No Objection Letter is a letter from your employer or your school/university which states that you have contractual obligations in your home country to which you will return to. So in addition to your visa application documents, you can also submit a No Objection Letter.
The No Objection letter is otherwise known as a No Objection Certificate for Visa or a NOC. It can be mandatory for some countries but is usually optional. Even though it is optional, it is a good idea for you to submit it because it will speed up your visa processing. Also, this is where your company will state if they are providing any financial assistance.

Another idea that comes to mind, in NOC, you can equally state that your company will be providing 400 CAD or less monthly to support your living expenses as a commitment that you are in a contract with them. Note: your company must be capable of it (even though we know it might be "bobo" I feel this is also a strong economic home ties!

My two cents!

If you can get both, no problem. Also, any of them is equally okay for your application. Just pick the ideal one that suits your application. The bottom line is the goal of both letters or certificates is the same. Also, try to add an exact return date in any of these letters.

Thanks so much

Hi!!

If you are going to a branch of your company, you will be issued an LMIA - Work Visa. (Restricting you to only that company unlike OPEN Work Visa). LMIA Work Visa is restricted and has several documentations from your Company Branch in Canada. LMIA - Work Visa are legit but rare.

Approval for work visa is currently being issued especially when its an essential job. Based on the processing time for Nigeria, it could take about 28 weeks. However, LMIA Work Visa approval promptness is equally determined by your company branch in Canada & IRCC.

Lastly, this is a student thread! Kindly go to the express entry related thread to get more info.

Thanks so much for this.
What is the full meaning of LMIA?
How will i get it, will i apply like that of study permit processes?

Is it the company that will provide the documentations?

28 weeks, why

You mean the company has a huge say in the approval of visa, hope the IRCC won't do anyhow the way they normally do for study visa sha?

Although I'm not the one that originally asked the question, I'm so glad to come accross this information. I've been racking my head about this accommodation issue. I guess I'll just do Airbnb temporarily until I get something long term. Thanks for the info.

Like 700 cad for 30 days with free WiFi and other benefit.

Vancouver is expensive so might be cheaper in Ontario or better still stay with your family to save cost

Omo I just remembered now I filled employed when I was filling my application, I stated in my SOP I continued at the company I learned my computer skills, so I filled employed when asked about my employment history. I didn’t add any employment documents. Should I write a letter stating I mistakenly filled it knowing that I didn’t add any employment documents ??

I don't think that will sound well. I guess no matter how bad it is, you must have done some work after graduation. Walk up to those offices and build something out of it. Then send them through webform as a form of update. Telling them you don't have work history might be a red flag.

I’m going for an undergraduate course and I added the training certificate I did. I just want to know if I should send a webform informing them I mistakenly filled the employment stuff

As an added advantage, add few months of working after the training to it. I don't know about retrieving information. But adding information gives more stand. That's just my own opinion. I will say you allow those who know it better explain.

You are welcome Honorable, I never made any Statement as regards the bolded.

It's just an Update I saw which I shared.

Based on the headline, Its is expected of an incoming student, Prospective Student of that school or otherwise to do his/her due diligence by googling or visiting the link to read details about it whether it applies to him/her or not which you just did.

Gracias for the information breakdown

Instead of going back to declare it as a mistake, try to get even if it's a volunteer employment letter from the said firm. I think it's a better deal, considering that you may not have pay slips or any other employment docs

How long will it take for someone that have previous traveling experience to Canada, UK, US to be issue Canadian student permit ? Is there any student visa stream for such a candidate. Any answer from experience visa expert would be highly appreciated

I am not a visa expert but based on past testimonies from these threads and my personal experience, you can still be issued a visa on a virgin passport. I had never travelled to the USA, Canada, UK, or any of the Western countries before I got approval, so do not worry about that.

The most important thing now is focusing on putting up a strong application. Give it your best shot. Just be optimistic, and you would have it.

All the best.

There is a 100 dollar limit on Nigeria debit cards. So the best bet is to use a dollar card, or look for someone who has if you don't. But I will advice you use flutter wave, fund it and create a virtual dollar card. That was what I used for my school application fee.
