I bought some scaled fish a while ago from my neighbor who deals on dried fish. I haven't bought fish from her in a while as she hasn't had scaled fish. However, she recently sent her son to my house with this... looks like a tilapia. I offered to pay 6k but they refused. I would have even offered 10k if they hadn't stood on their 20k.

What do you think? I haven't seen a tilapia this big, except online. 20k can buy me 5 chickens or even a goat. Anyways... Your comments.

No, bro. My mumsy dey deal on fresh water fish. I be ijaw man from Bayelsa state and I know that fish and its price range as one living in riverine fishing area. E no pass #500 for road side trading, unless na big man things.

That fish occupied almost half the space of that wheelbarrow na. 500 is rather too small even if you are buying it directly from the fisherman.

I won't even buy this for 5k. The other choices you mentioned are better. 20k worth of chicken or Mutton would last you a month or more, depending on how large your family is.

My bad. The angle of the camera made it look small and then I thought it was in a small container and not in a wheelbarrow. But still, that amount is too high. I know that fish very well, it is not a tilapia. We call that fish "ikirika" in ijaw, while tilapia is " iton".
