The only reason anyone would choose the super eagles over the three lions is because they can't get into the latter easily as competition is stiff there. However, it is easier for the super eagles to lift a major trophy than for the three lions to do same

55years without a single trophy tongue
I don't think it's only about the trophy, they pay them well even after retirement.

Oja mi lara jee. I will surely choose Nigeria over others. This is the reason:

BLACK/ AFRICAN SOCIETY: You have two cows, you eat them all the same day and you dream that donors or the international community give you others. You turn to God and hope for miracle cattle. You fast 40 days and 40 nights without eating or drinking so that the cows will fall from heaven. At the end, you die in extreme poverty.

This last point does not apply to Nigeria but very true for the rest of Africa especially East Africa. Nigerians do turn to god but they are likelier to turn against government than ask international donors for help. The rest of Nigeria except the North have grown to hate cows. grin

Useless players, imagine the god like status they would have achieved by playing for Nigeria. England substitute bench them no even smell. It would be easier to win a major trophy with Nigeria than that overrated English team.

Serves him right??...because he chose England over Nigeria??

Stop being petty. The young man has a great career ahead of him. The idea of travelling round Europe looking for finished product to feature for Nigeria is very bad for the country.

What happened to developing your own talents by investing at home?...This is why our local league is nothing to write home about. Local players know this and would normally leave the country where they’ll be better appreciated.
Pinnick and co need to come back home, sit down and work hard to develop the local league. There are lots of talents and it’s shame that these group of young people get frustrated and venture into professions that are not their callings.

They've Technical Committee working on the home front to watch games. I watch local league games. Those guys aren't better than those we are courting. Don't make it look like they are some Messi. If we can get them, fine. If we can't, cool too. But courting them isn't bad. Hannibal pledged for Tunisia after growing up in France. A lot of examples are out there.

Oja mi lara jee. I will surely choose Nigeria over others. This is the reason:

SOCIALISM: You have two cows, and you give one to your neighbor.

COMMUNISM: You have two cows, the government takes both and gives you milk.

FASCISM: You have two cows, the government takes both and sells you milk.

NAZISM: You have two cows, the government takes them and kills you.

CAPITALISM: You have two cows, you sell one and buy a male. You multiply your cows and there is economic growth. You sell them, you retire and you live on your profits.

MODERN CAPITALISM: You have two cows, you sell one and buy a male. You multiply your cows and you buy those of your neighbors. The latter become your shepherds, you pay them in monkey currencies and they die poor.

AMERICAN SOCIETY: You have two cows, you sell one and you have to make the other one to produce milk like 4 cows. By dint of producing beyond her capacity, she dies. You take a consultant to understand this death.

FRENCH SOCIETY: You have two cows, you go on strike because you want a third.

GERMAN SOCIETY: You have two cows, you modify them so that they live 100 years, eat once a month and treat themselves.

CHINESE SOCIETY: You have two cows, you sell milk to your compatriots and you produce plastic milk to export to the rest of the world.

BLACK/ AFRICAN SOCIETY: You have two cows, you eat them all the same day and you dream that donors or the international community give you others. You turn to God and hope for miracle cattle. You fast 40 days and 40 nights without eating or drinking so that the cows will fall from heaven. At the end, you die i sadn extreme poverty.

We are saying the same thing. I never mention his name among Nigerians. I mentioned Callum because he was called up to England squad in 2019 with just 3 appearances.

How about Chris Armstrong of 'Spurs in the mid to late '90s?

England always lose on penalties in big games, the boys were scape goats. Maybe 3 lions should focus more on pks before Qatar

what of Dele Ali
In the dust bin right now
England simply would use and dump these guys.
I doubt Tammy will ever see a call up, besides we already have Osimhen.
Solanke better reconsider.
Three lions have shown progression & would get to the semi finals next years World Cup.
Their u17 & u20 won the youth world cups recently; certainly not a fluke

Instead of crying over and jeering at the ones that rejected Nigeria in favor of other countries why not worry about the ones that are currently eligible to play for either and we might yet lose too?
