I want to buy a flat screen TV.

I have two concerns I need help with.

1. I like to know the advantages of one over the other. I am split between getting an LED and LCD TV, I like to know the differences and will appreciate candid advice about the right one to go for. Mind you, I intend powering it with solar round the clock

2. I am confused about size. I noticed much times, many flat screen TVs I come across display very tiny images. As a result,I want a TV with bold images for optimum viewing. I like the size I see in football viewing centres, but I also don't want it excessively large. I'm split between choosing a 30 inch TV and a 40 inch TV

I will appreciate help in anyway in addressing my needs

I look forward to getting solid Intel

Thanks

One more thing I forgot to add, you have to visit like 4 to 7 stores before choosing which one to buy. Depending on your pocket I will suggest you go for 42 or 42 inches. The reason is because you'll get tired of a 32inches quicker and wished you had bought something bigger

If you have the money, go for a 62" LED TV, and a good 5.1ch home theater system.
Please don't go for sound bars.

Why don't you like sound bars?

Why don't you like sound bars?

I don't like them because they don't bring out the real tune and sound in music and movies due to the small and single speaker unit. And they also deliver poor stereo imaging due to the closeness of each different audio channels. Unlike a normal 5.1ch with bookshelf speakers.
