Yorubas tend do well in combat sports and have produced the likes of Adesanya and Anthony Joshua etc... Yorubas also do well in football.

Igbos largely dominate/rule football, basketball, American NFL sports and track and field.

South South people especially Delta state indigenes do very well in boxing, track and field, and football.
