Still goes back to ease of escape,

The traffic will make things easier for our sluggish law enforcement not really about fire power.

Reason most armed crimes are carried out at suburbs.

Where were the fire power when guys were being robbed on Eko bridge. Those are urchins and they operate via foot. You can’t rob a bank and operate via foot.

Without the help of some security agents arm robbers will hardly get access to riffles and Dynamites. A police colleague had tried to influence me into robbery before... Now he’s serving his term in the correctional facility

I think the person you quoted is more correct.

I remember a robbery incident that happened years ago in Lagos, the one involving BDCs etc.
You can google it up.

It has to do more with hold up than firepower.
