kaeycea:No nobody is jettisoning any idea here. I'm just been realistic. Nigeria have only 46% network coverages, which is less than 50% of the country. 2. Less than 50% of the country doesn't have access to electricity. 3.How prepared is inec in safekeeping of electoral electoral results? 1 Like |

fulanis have finished this country. Once power is taken from them, must never ba allowed to smell it EVER AGAIN. If this would cause war, let them bring it on. But the indigenous people of the land now known as nigeria will ensure that the place where they may feel safe is in Futa jalon, Guinea from where their marauding ancestors migrated from, less than 2 centuries ago. |

Mitsurugi: Who told you ballot box snatching, voter coercion and manipulation of figures won't exist when it's only up to a youth corpers to send the counted result to INEC server from a device... The corper can count 100 and type 1000 without any party agents knowing 1 Like |

Re: Electoral Bill: Reps Minority Caucus Stages Walkout From Plenary by dalongjnr: 3:07pm On Jul 16, 2021 |
Mitsurugi:No at all. Nigeria at this point in time is not ready and prepared for electronic transmission of electoral results. But, we can work towards it,by ensuring adequate broadband Penetration in at least, 90% of the population by 2025, ensure computer literacy in at least, 68% of the total population by 2026, ensure adequate power supply to at least, 70% of the entire population by 1st quarter, 2026. By so doing, the dream of electronic transmission of electoral results is feasible. |

haba, wont they count the number of registered voters. the electronic transmission is just to complement the manual transmission. meaning ,iNEC will have two platform to confirm election results. Jerryherd: |
Re: Electoral Bill: Reps Minority Caucus Stages Walkout From Plenary by CaptainFM1: 6:32pm On Jul 16, 2021 |
Jerryherd: A) How far would one need to move from a location in Northern desert to where the closest network can be received? B) Now imagine having to manually carry that same result from all over places down to collation center in Abuja? Only if you are reasonable and sensible, you would know which one is easier and relatively safer. |

kaeycea: You made sense but the fear of PDP accusation is the beginning of wisdom. After the release of the results, PDP will turn around to accuse APC of hacking the INEC server and tampering with the results once they lose the election. Even the one that wasn't transmitted electronically in 2019, they accused APC of hacking the INEC "server" when there was nothing to be hacked! |
