Ben White deal is close. All agreement made and medicals fixed.

Sassuolo has accepted Arsenal's bid for Locatelli
Wow...is this really true?

As a United fan I hope you guys do just that. However the better move would be to add more to that money and buy Calvert-Lewin. He is the player Tammy Abraham would like to be.
Exactly, if spy had initially said DCL, I wouldn't have mind, but not Tammy Abraham abeg

I'll take Calvert-Lewin over Abraham any day. But then he isn't available. If Chelsea demands anything more than 30m then it's a risk too far. But below that is worth trying. After all we are paying 50m for Ben White.
Money makes anyone available boss.
If we drop 50-55m for DCL, dem fit budge. And if we increase his salary to 110-120k, I tell you, that deal might be good as a done deal
Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Jodera: 8:30am On Jul 17, 2021
One another note...
If to say braithwaite and Jimenez young sef. This are the kind of strikers I would have said we should look out for and tempt.

But all in all, I believe good strikers are in Europe, how much more South America. Seems most scouts are just lazy or clubs don't just wanna depend on scouts again

Exactly. I think he will come between 55-60m. But to be honest I think Abraham can still improve which makes him a bargain for 30m. Bros this guy has been top scorer for Chelsea for the past two seasons. Early last season he was going to golden boot o. Just that Tuchel doesn't like him. I think his morale dropped somehow. If Chelsea are hawking him, it's a good time to take a calculated risk.

They have to accept it, it is the better deal when compared to what Juventus has offered but truthfully it means nothing. Sassuolo are like the academy/feeder team for Juventus. They have been in conversations about this player throughout last week. More importantly, the players wants to move to Juventus only.

We may end up with another home sick from the Serie A if we force a move. It has never worked in the past and this would be worse if you ask me. The player had clearly said he does not want to leave Italy or play for any other team outside Juventus. We are looking at another Torreira if we end up with him.

Tammy would be a dangerous gamble especially under our Spanish Khadiri Ikhana! He would be left isolated especially since he is unable to create anything for himself! Have you watched Auba/ Lacazette lately? Now imagine Tammy playing under that kind of “Haram” style!
Abeg, we get Martinelli and Balogun for there.. I would rather take my chances with dem.

I admit.

Let's give Balogun, Nketiah and Martinelli their chance.

It would be interesting to see if Saka still gets academy prospect treatment after starting for England in an international final.

There's a reason lampard was looking for another striker even with Abraham their highest goalscorer.
There's a reason he had to be pushed to the bench for Werner instead of Werner shunting out wide as he initially did.
There's a reason that the first full season under lampard, towards the end, giroud was given a look in, in order to salvage their season even tho they had the highest goalscorer with them

There's a reason tuchel couldn't even give him place on the bench after testing him for one or 2 games.

There's a reason even Chelsea fans or media weren't even perturbed wen Abraham was benched by both lampard and tuchel.

All these reasons aren't just coincidences or badluck if you ask me.

Lol... I'm not even basing it on this past tourney sha.
Most times I watch him, I feel he's a good (not great tho) striker who is just off sync with barca system of play.

True... I agree wholeheartedly about the acclimation only if the striker is good or have potential.
It's the Reason why I'm quoting 50-55m for DCL(due to his already English acclimation) and not even agreeing 25m for Tammy Abraham cheesy grin

Na huff and puff attacker. As an attacker if you don’t give me goals or assists you are nothing but a Willian.

You people should use open eye and church mind to expose any Willian in your lives.

Saka is one of the primary reasons Arteta still has a job!
He has to be the first name on the team sheet for the wide men. Pepe, Willian and the rest have to fight for shirt after him.

Adete should stop using him as a utility player or a rotation player. Start the boy on one wing and leave him there to develop.

If Martinelli is able to maintain his fitness he should also get a run of games as either 1st or 2nd choice in a particular position.

Wasting time on experienced players with no improvement left in them or with lower ceilings is just that…..wasting time.

That guy is our version of 90m like Jadon Sancho.

Thunder will fire Arteta 5times if he treats him like an ordinary player, and 10times if he treats him like an academy player. angry

Saka has potential. Playing him as wingback today, RW tomorrow, LW next week will eventually stunt his growth.
