This video here shows moments when a man's car was bashed by a reckless driving, "Learner" of an alleged Yahoo Boy in Benin city Nigeria.

The Man who was bittered could be heard reiterating his ordeal with reckless driving of these young boys who don't know how to drive but keep hitting the road with their new flashy cars.

According to him, he has lost two cars so far in the same manner within 2 months. He is currently spending over N400,000 (Naira) on another car of his that was bashed by a reckless driving Yahoo boy in Benin City.

I heard the news that couple of months ago, some yahoo boys around Federal University Ọyẹ́ drove into a vulcanizer who had his shop by the road side, hitting the dude and killing him in the process. The police waded in and suggested the guys pay off the family of the innocent man, of course with some percentages also entering the pocket of the police.

Over the past year, a close friend of mine witnessed two different road traffic accidents (Lexus ES330 in both cases) around EKSU, both midwifed by reckless driving from drunk yahoo guys and taking no less than three lives on each occasion. In one of the occasions one of the victims was the yahoo guy himself and he was celebrating the arrival in Lagos of a range rover he just acquired. He has not even laid hands on the car.

There must be something in the water northerners drink cos I fail to understand the obsession with southern affairs, it's not like there isn't actual terrorism going on in the north. Feed your hungry children, clothe them too, if not they'll always be recruited for banditry and terrorism. You guys have a major societal problem, the real tragedy is that we have to share the same consequences of your unwise decisions.

But One day the number of literate Nigerians will finally overshadow the number of illiterates and that power will speak with the ballot, an educated society that will finally agree to sit down and deconstruct this contraption so everybody can go their separate ways without meaningless bloodshed. I've seen this and it is inevitable.

Import cars sometimes come with their foreign license plates. It did say they bought the car 2 days before the incident.

This is wrong, you can't sweat to buy car, these scums of the earth will wreak the car, two cars bashed in two months, for this Buhari era. Me no amount of sorry will make me leave you, they must pay. I remember when Okada, finish one of my headlamp, he replaced it, and did small fender repair.

These guys are just noise makers.. some idiot bashed me some time ago back in Benin city I simply came down looked at the effect and drove off.. the guy was so terrified that I didn’t say a word and even drove up to me to apologize lol I just dy laugh.. got back to the office called up my insurance officer and had it all handled within a week.

I was in court one day and it was a full day cause we were also having election petition hearing that day so I was having a hard time finding a parking spot and some old men who were drivers to some politicians were there as well and I don’t know what was frustrating them.

This old man was so frustrated seeing me so young behind the wheels trying to get a parking spot.. he was about to shout the usual “all these YAHOO BOYS when manage get motor”.. the moment I stepped down from the car with my bib, suit, brief case and was decking my wig and gown to step into court he changed tune and started saying “all these YOUNG LAWYERS when manage buy motor”...

I just ignored him..

When I’m not working and I’m in Nigeria I dress flashy as f@ck and I get the usual “all these yahoo boys” crap but who cares anyway the moment you try to mess with me (cause I know most fraudsters have low iq) I let you know that I know my right and fully learned.

In March this year, God averted what could have been a terrible accident for me with one reckless yahoo boy in a Lexus 350 SUV. The guy left his lane n come face to face against my car on top speed n how I managed to escape could only be described as the hand of God. This yahoo boys are nuisance n a model for crass foolishness.

Reason I used to tell myself while driving that I am the only sane driver on the road others are INSANE, not to abuse anyone or believe I Sabi pass, but to be extremely careful just to avoid unnecessary bashing

I’ve never bashed anyone’s car before but people have run into me in this Lagos ... it takes absolute grace of God to drive here in Lagos and not get bashed

You come across as a narcissist from all you typed up there. But I don't even have anything against it so far you said you worked hard for what you have. But it'll be nice if you keep things down a little bit. Try to pass your messages across with little less of pomposity cos you have simply waxed sanctimonious by condemning those that chose to express displeasure in yahoo boys who they may have fallen victim to as "frustrated". Even the victim still instructed one potential assailant not to slap one of the boys. That is to show you the level of maturity he has.

If I see you all dressed up responsibly and driving your "posh" car and I am the driver to a politician, I sure won't profile you, I'll just conclude in my mind that you're lucky to have things going your way.

Mind you, that you are well dressed does not mean you may not be irresponsible if prodded further.

However if you are in that "posh" car with some funny raggy, mopstick-like, colour dyed hair, pierced noses and ears and then when you come down I see some saggy worn out Jean barely covering two skinny legs and you happened to have brushed my ride, ọmọ, I will immediately take you for an irresponsible dolt and address you as such. I won't let the you slide with the car bash either. If you see me as "frustrated" for opting to do that, then be ready to get it from a frustrated dude.
