Many cars were submerged in water following the heavy downpour witnessed in Lagos state today July 16.

The areas that were most affected were in Lagos Island.

Poor drainage system
Dumping of wastes inside drainage
Lack of regular sanitations
Ineffectiveness of the ministry of environment and lastly
