In those days women ddnt have much personal say....it will take a lot for a women to just leave their father’s or husband’s home and follow Jesus about...

Besides...menstration will make women miss action as they will have to stay at home since no pad in those days...

The reasons are many jare..but it’s not that women can’t be disciples...

Disciples or Apostles? Because women were part of Jesus Christ’s disciples.

They were 12 disciples.
They were not Apostles. An Apostle is a preacher which any Christian can be.
For example Paul was an Apostle not disciple.
Hence Apostle Paul.

Get your facts right first before you argue.

Jesus Christ chose 12men (apostles) to help him in His ministry, but He had many disciples, both male and female.

Each apostle represents a tribe.
Twelve tribes of Isreal, 12 apostles. They're to become judges and rule with Christ in God's government. Such position of authority isn't meant for women in the Bible time.

You are 100% wrong. There were 12 disciples. Apostles are numerous. The 12 disciples are the direct followers of Jesus, who had direct and close relationship with him.

For the same reason Paul said in 1 Timothy 2:8-15 (NKJV):
8 I desire therefore that the men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting;
9 in like manner also, that the women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with propriety and moderation, not with braided hair or gold or pearls or costly clothing,
10 but, which is proper for women professing godliness, with good works.
11 Let a woman learn in silence with all submission.
12 And I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man, but to be in silence.
13 For Adam was formed first, then Eve.
14 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived, fell into transgression.
15 Nevertheless she will be saved in childbearing if they continue in faith, love, and holiness, with self-control.

Women are emotionally-based, and therefore value feelings over facts, and Love over Truth.
Men are physically-based, and therefore value facts over feelings, and Truth over Love.

Love is is the easier part; the Truth is the harder part.

Men are called to lead because they will keep the Truth, more than women, especially when the going gets difficult.

That's why men are also supposed to be the head of the household.

But women surely are necessary for all that they do... if not, God would not have created them for man.

And a godly woman who actually follows what Christ teaches is surely much better than a man who does not.

One last thing, as has been stated in here: Jesus did have female disciples, but just not female apostles.

Because they have their place and different functions as created by God. It's like asking why yam was not added in the jollof rice. We live in a gullible world that thinks male and female are the same, and that even parents do not have the right to see that their child is male or female. the child will determine that when it feels so. Crazy right?

Jesus had many disciples following his ministry as his popularity grew. We can talk about the special and more prominent 12 disciples/Apostles but they weren’t the only ones.

John 6:66(KJV)
From that time MANY of his DISCIPLES went back, and walked no more with him.

“As He said these things, MANY believed in Him [trusted, relied on, and ADHERED to Him].”
‭‭John‬ ‭8:30‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

So the disciples weren’t restricted to the 12.
We also saw what Nicodemus and Joseph Arimathea did. They were part of his secret disciples, people who were sympathetic to his teachings even among the prominent Sanhedrin.

“And also some women who had been cured of evil spirits and diseases: Mary, called Magdalene, from whom seven demons had been expelled; And Joanna, the wife of Chuza, Herod's household manager; and Susanna; and many others, who ministered to and provided for Him and them out of their property and personal belongings.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭8:2-3‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

Jesus definitely had female disciples. Only a few prominent were mentioned. Mary and Martha aren’t even among the ones mentioned up there and they were very close to him.
I am sure some of the other women he healed like the woman with the issue of blood, the ones he raised their children etc would have been following him from far too... the Bible is silent on that.

Of course the Near East civilization had records that favored men more than women back then.

I live in the West... tell me about it. Such perversions are everywhere in the newspapers practically every day. All evil all the time... (sigh).

1. Each apostle represents a tribe? Interesting view, however, recall that only 11 of the first 12 survived. So was it really about the 12 tribes?

2.. Ever wondered why that was for women? undecided

The 12 were simply the first.... they didn't necessarily have a more direct or closer.relationship to Jesus Christ than the rest. They were simply the first of the group. undecided

The group started as 12 but grew over time. We are all of us called apostles/disciples.... essentially every one who is a follower of Jesus Christ is an apostle/disciple to Jesus Christ. undecided
