The South-East contingent to Nigeria Senate have never heard to stop digging when in a hole. Instead they doubledown. Having chosen nearly all of them to wimpout on the most consequential vote in the chamber since Third Term, they have now decided to burnish irresponsibility with duplicity.

Sen. Orji Uzor Kalu kicks off the show of shame with his audacious claim that his Vote For Rigging was because there is no network in Igbere, his village in Abia North. That is a laughable lie and verifiably so. But we know Kalu is not too scrupulous and EFCC knows that even more.

Sen. Uche Ekwunife couldn't be bothered with the fate of democratic elections. She jetted off instead to that Funeral at Oba, preferring to hang out among the dead than saddle herself with worries for the living.

Not to be outdone, Sen. Stella Oduah claims, rather incredulously, that she abstained on the vote because she didn't want to vote against the report of a committee on which she sat. Apparently, no one told her she could just have voted in support of her report then?!

As for Gosim kamfunanya, Sen. Ifeanyi Ubah who wants to rule Anambra State, he claims he walked out because the Senate President, Dr Ahmad Lawan, provoked him. Somehow, Ifeanyi Uba, who physically assaults his minions without provocation, could not show his prowess when provoked. How cowardly?

As for distinguished Senator representing Iberiberism Central Senatorial District, Sen. Rochas Okorocha, he was last seen engaged in Two Fighting over stolen property somewhere in Owerri, in Imo State. We are still settling that fight.

Sen. TA Orji, was apparently too busy doing Mafia Don in Abia State with his son. He could not be bothered. Mafia dons after all are not "voted" into office by democratic elections.

These men and women will mount the rostrum tomorrow to tell you how they are being marginalised and how other people are marginalising the SE. What they will not tell you is that in respect of the little responsibilities that they have assumed on behalf of Igbos, they are Wimps and worse.

South-East Nigeria doesn't just have a problem of Unknown Gunmen. The gunmen are there because of a real crisis of Unknown Senators and Unknown Government. Cure the latter and the gunmen will disappear.

Meanwhile, Doyen of the South-East Caucus of the Senate, Sen. Ike Ekweremadu, appears to have vanished without trace. We are asking Nigerian Police to launch a Missing Person hunt.
