They have to lie to protect the life of the pilot and other Nigerians. If they confirm that there was a crash, the bandit might go for the pilot, they might not kill him at first but extract vital intelligence from him. If they were able to extract information from him, it will weaken our military. As you can see from the picture displayed, this guy is very close to his ogas and he knows things. This pilot must stay safe by all means.

And this case is understandable,he just escaped a near death situation and one of the things they can do to encourage other soldiers is to show sign of solidarity in this way and manner

I don't think this pilot would ever want to embark on such journey again.And NLders have been attacking the op who created this news when the airforce denied the crash yesterday and calling for his head.

Nigerian Airforce planes are exactly like APC. Very archaic, always disappointing, promising so much but delivering next to nothing. This is why BH, ISWAP & the bandits are never moved when they fly above them. The Super Tukano is simply a modified WW2 relics. Vietnam & Myanmar can never display such.

No sane country can sell new generation war planes to Nigeria because they know that they'll either use it to bomb Christians or their political enemy's village.

I am not Ipob but do we really have to link Ipob to everything just to score sentimental points. We just lost a Military Plane that cost God knows how much US Dollars to the so called untrained rag tag Bandits, not to an organized military formation. We can do better!
