My View About Some Nairalanders by Gentlerespect76: 8:33am On Jul 22, 2021 |
I have read so many views and perspectives on this forum and because of how all encompassing its scopes are, I have come to make Nairaland an important spot which I visit constantly no matter how busy my day or evening may be. However, with the type of psychological traces left daily on this forum, I have come to the sad conclusion that even the true and real enemies of the people also mingle freely with progressives on this platform. What a heck? My mind seems bent on identifying these mixed multitudes who are the enemies of their own people. Some of them because of half-empty pots of porridge they are working against their own people. I mean it's a good thing as a Youruba or Igbo, to be doing well in the country as it were; there is nothing bad in that at all. But we all must be wise in looking at the bigger picture; looking at the greater good of everyone. If Moses was not conscious of his own people's pervasive suffering, he wouldn't have killed the Egyptian man fighting with his Israeli brother and consequently escaping from the momentary comforts of the Egyptian palace. God still elevated him at the end making him a leader over the Israeli nation. Any conscious Yoruba or Igbo should understand that the music is changing so fast. Look at MNK and Sunday Igboho; how they have been humiliated and dehumanized. For calling out the government over injustices against their people. If you still think MNK and Igboho are into this struggle for money or wealth or fame, then you are irredeemably foolish because there is a limit a man would go for these things. Kanu's parents and compatriots, so many people he loved are gone in this course and he is still moving man. Think a little. See what Igboho has lost since 1July. These people love us; let us love ourselves just a little and get a little sense. My point is that, no matter the position you occupy in the present Nigerian arrangement as Igbo or Yoruba, let not the thought of things remaining as they are ever cross your mind. But if it's crossing your mind and forming part of your prayers or you have even being working against change, then you are a WITCH on Nairaland. Let's all use our ingenuity and other resources to support the enthronement of real change in this nation. 4 Likes |

We all can't sleep and face the same direction, that some people had already made up their minds not to see anything good about this country or this government doesn't mean others see it that way. 1 Like |

Op I agree with you to some extent, but I disagree with your take on Mnk. My opinion is that mnk is as worse as buhari, they have very little difference, both will do everything to water down any form of criticism and opposing voice. I don't see him as a freedom fighter at all bcus chances are he would enslave others if he had power at his disposal |

Fahdiga: Fixed! Stop disguising your real intention on this app. I figured you out a long time ago. Your only interest is to promote PDP and abuse Yoruba people. If Atiku is nominated as the candidate of PDP in 2023 and APC nominated a southerner, you will vote for Atiku with your full chest. So, why pretend about real interest? 1 Like |

seunmsg:You can edit my post and insert whatever you want but right in your heart you know you and your types are hurting the south more than you think with your blind loyalty towards the north that has subjugated the south for long. For your unfounded assumptions I will choose a southerner even from south west over a northerner any day and any time 2 Likes |
