He would have to pay roughly 10 million to refund the money stolen and another 500k as fine otherwise he would serve 10 years (actually 8 years). Good judgment. |

In view of his guilty plea, prosecution counsel S. H. Sa'ad prayed the Court to convict and sentence him accordingly. Justice Sifawa convicted the defendant and sentenced him to 10 years imprisonment with option of N500, 000.00 fine. The convict was also ordered to pay the sum of $18,700 United States Dollars as restitution to the victim through the EFCC. etokhana: It's like the Judges in the North are different from the one in the West or South in giving out verdict. |
