This una fictitious"Bini Empire" where did it start and where did it stop? Your fictitious Bini Empire couldn't even conquer Agbor kingdom that is next door to it. I am going to tell you a history Bini have almost whitewashed from existence. There was a time in the back and forth tussle with Agbor kingdom that Agbor invaded and occupied Bini kingdom for a few years. In other words, Agbor defeated Bini in battle. Ask any elderly or cultural Bini, he will know that history. I read about it when I schooled there.

right bro, the only thing that brought Edo and Yoruba together was the kingship interchange between oromiyan or oduduwa and Edo people. Yoruba was already an established State before the wanderer prince from Benin arrived.

And we took the whole of Bini under a day in 1967. You people are either part of our vassal states or that of the Fulani as a conquered property. Whenever Nigeria wants to break, we will decide the owner between us and the Fulani.
I am speaking modern recorded history here not fairly tales

The Biafra soldiers entered Asaba, Agbor, Benin city, and even up to Okene. So all these places are part of Biafra because you entered these places with little resistance from Federal troops? I like you people Sha. Una sabi get wild, unrealistic dreams grin

Lol. A conquered property calling others conquered property grin grin. Your people fought the Nigerian civil war. The Nigerian side came out victorious and ever since then, you people have been forced to be in Nigeria against your wish. Is that not a very good description of being conquered? grin grin.

Get your Biafra first grin grin. Then we will know if Benin is part of Biafra.

You're so d**b.

From the fake info you posted, it shows the various conflicts lasted years, unlike yours that only lasted a day.

What does your empty sk*ll tell you about that?
It simply means the British didn't have an easy ride during those conflicts like they did in your place.
I saw some lasted over 20 years, and a shame*l*s being like you have the effrontery to compare your we*k-ass people to Igbos.

The British invaded Igboland, hanged some your people and brought igboland to it's knees. Every other of your explanation is rubbish grin. I think I now know where countries like Indonesia, Malaysia, Phillipines learnt this "hanging of some Igbos" from grin.

Meanwhile, look at what I stumbled upon! grin

If it makes you feel better.

But ehn I'm just imagining how them take banish your king that year.

You are d*ft, so I'm not surprised that you posted an unknown blog news as prove.

The number of millionaires in a town in one eastern state is more than the ones in your whole state.

Your state is the state with the moat us*less, most lazy, most adulterous and any other negative characters in the whole south.

Even the Itsekiris were under the Bini. Reno is being smart by half for saying the Itsekiri and the Binis. It was actually the Binis.

The Bini empire was the only one in Nigeria the Portuguese and later the British referred to as ‘Great’ in all of their text. Its influence spanned into the south west to present day lagos, ondo & ekiti, beyond the river Niger up to the kalabari and even cross rivers.

Its was for the untainted loyalty of the king in calabar to the Bini throne that he choose to be banished there by the British.

Do u really know where calabar is in the Nigerian map in respect with where bini kingdom is

Where is that your Oba?
Tell me one single being on earth that is immortal, that is not an excuse.

The point is he did what he did during his time.

Lol... The Igbo ni**a died mysteriously, untimely.... At a young age and leaving kids at the hands Of his widow to suffer alone

The Oba died at an old age, fulfilled and leaving a successor who he trained and empowered to continue in the lineage of his forefathers

That's a big difference cheesy

If that guy has an opportunity to do that again in his life, he'll never try it

Oga keep quite. Know why the British invaded the Benin Kingdom. They killed a British. If your igbo people had killed a British, your towns and villages would have been burnt down by the British. Nothing back then could stop the white man's guns!

The British didn't come to igboland with the same motive used in invading Benin!

What is Benin? Foreigners corrupted your indigenous name 'ubini' and you agreed just like that?

There is absolutely no similarity between them. They don't even dress the same way, they don't even eat the same type of food, their music is even different. The H factor is missing completely in Edo people. I can go on an on.
Stop reading Edo blogs. Oba of benin is a Yoruba man. All edos are Yoruba

Can you avail me your source please.

Why do you think that a lot of Ekiti/Ondo culture tilts towards the Edos other than the yoruba? Even the Iyan they eat or claim as theirs is Edo’s food. The core yorubas are known for Amala, lafun etc. Even their indigenious language is arguably Edoid.

Both the words Iyan and Bini are Yoruba names.

The african menu of pounded Yam is eaten in many African tribes from Togo to Nigeria and beyond.

Even in Nigeria, Igala, Nupe, Yoruba, Ebira, Igbo, Bini, Urhobo, Ijaw all eat pounded Yam, so how is it a Bini diet?
Re: How The Bini Used And Sold The Igbos As Slaves For Centuries - Reno Omokri by Chris525: 7:53am On Jul 24, 2021
Even in the North people eat Amala. How then is it called a Yoruba food? Chinese food is eaten in Nigeria, how then is it Chinese food?

Thats how ridiculous you sound.

Dont be intentionally deluded.

Itsekiri population was around 30k in the 19th century, this means that Itsekiri is an offshoot of another bigger tribe.

If Itsekiri were 30k in the 19th century, Then it becomes obvious that they might be just 3000 people or less 400 years ago, or better still they never existed in the 1500s.

Itsekriri are most closely related to yorubas

U mean this Itsekiri?

Man, the strength of the itsekiris and bini are not in their numbers so dont be deceived. They had great influence then, and the itsekiris have the first educated king and individual in sub saharan Africa. They have direct links with British and with just a maxim gun, they can capture all ibos. Did you know lugard used only two maxim guns to defeat the war-hungry fulani tribe?
