There's nothing wrong with announcing it before it is built. It shows that they are not sleeping as many critics would make people believe. Besides, announcing it and accomplishing it show that they match their words with action.

How will more prisons create jobs? Government that cares for its citizens enables private enterprises to build factories to create jobs; not giving contracts to politicians to build more prisons.

Whenever APC uses "to or we will..." they never do anything. Since it's prison, they'll deliver it, but in the future, APC members and thugs will be the ones to rot in those prisons.

Announcing a project before it's built is not peculiar to Nigeria. It happens all over the world, including the United States. There are things we cannot change and this is one of them. For me, there's nothing wrong with that. The most important thing is for them to build it.

Just know that leaders have a duty to inform the people of their policies and programs. Many of us have been criticizing Buhari for not speaking to the press. Every government MUST carry its people along.

Three correctional center is too small for a country like Nigeria which crime of various degrees is the order of the day.
The government should build at least ten correctional centers with five maximum security facilities in each of the geographical region in Nigeria.
