Though WB needs to have a separate department dedicated for DC and put someone with broad knowledge of DC comic and they trust in charge. when I read abt how Disney make their movies jeez if I was a director I won't wanna work for them, these guys already practically have a movie ready b4 choosing a director, fight scenes are done by separate division and not director, the intended movie have already been animated to know the proper camera angle, abeg so wetin the director wan come do? He just dey recreate what already exist.

Disney will never allow Snyder do alot of that his slow mode that often, no be Disney? those guys are Fking strict, reason alot of their previous movies had similar tone and design.

Aquaman was just amazing, have re-seen it like a dozen time and I never got bored.
Everyone who went to see it at my work place came back to talk abt how amazing the visuals were.

Later now they say na WB say make Snyder use bubble b4 atlanteans can talk.

Aquaman is a clear prove of synder directing. Same set of character and we saw how james wan re-invented him, James wan even had to show too much in trailers just to win ppl over and God that Aquaman costume reveal won everyone over.

Have said it flash will be the nail on the coffin for all this their excuses.

But I love synder potray of WW and I love his fight scenes he sabi that one very well.

You can praise Zack without having the need to smear WB all the time. I've hardly seen any scenario where Snyder fans don't say anything about him without dragging WB into the conversation. Even if it is his Netflix projects or other things not similar they'll still bring that narrative.

Imho, Zack movies have never been generally widespread accepted or loved. His movies are usually mixed or controversial.
It's either you love it or you hate it. There's no middle ground.
And most fans or critics praising him are his fans.

You're forgetting Batman Begins was coming from the hot pile of shít that was Batman and Robin. People still remember that shït movie and wanted away from anything relating to it. But after seeing Batman Begins, confidence skyrocketed.

Let me ask you what of James Wan Aquaman with a single and first movie with $1bn. What of Todd Phillips Joker.

You peeps seem to forget that Aquaman at the time actually debuted with the lowest box office gross in DCEU's history. And yet, it is the highest grosser ever!! Aquaman was even coming from the travesty that was Josstice League and low expectations and anticipation. Heck, there was doubt DC will come out fast from that blow. But we all know how it turned out.

No matter how you look at it oo, Directors also have a role to play in movies performance. Studio interference or not. All this Shalaye I no Understand, no be the same studio all these other directors dey. Funny thing nah Snyder get name pass all of them sef. So who suppose to get more creative freedom??

I think you are over underestimating the power of a sequel here when it gets to do with CBM....
Was it not the same route Superman was also coming from before Superman Returns was released, so why didn't they go ahead with a sequel too.
Don't forget (initially) that WB wanted a crossover for both Christopher Bale's Batman and Brandon Routh's Superman, but Chris Nolan kicked against and went for a sequel which the rest is history now.

Aquaman mostly had the favourable odds on its side when it was released if I will say....
Aquaman was teased not only in Josstice League, but also in BvS and that alone made many to salivate, not to also talked about being the first of its kind, that is, the first live action movie to showcase a new thing entirely to the audience. That is 90% of the movie was under water.
That same Aquaman was released in very favourable time where both kids and adults were all at home. Don't get me wrong I know Aquaman was a fantastic movie, but those factors I mentioned contributed more to its huge success.
So to you Snyder is more known and recognised then Nolan abi...... oga talk something else abeg...

So what about Bird of Prey, Shazam and WW84? were they the cause of Snyder too...

Fact still remains that even if Zack has some controversial methods in film making if WB had let him finish his vision the DCEU would have been far better than it is now...Darkseid would have been even bigger than Thanos, Cyborg would have gotten his solo by now and GL and MM would have been incorporated too, Justice League dark and Black Adam would have also come earlier and the money would have still been rolling

Cos Snyder fans have been doing this shït for some years now. They see anything not Snyder in DC shït and they're very fvvking vocal about it. The only Movies they respect and dare not slander is Nolan's. And that's mainly cos it'd be stupid and suicide to. Few still does anyway tho.

BoP was bad marketing and R Rating. WW84 we can still argue that. No movie in the pandemic has performed as it has in streaming. Even movies released same time as the movie in December haven't surpassed it in BO or streaming numbers. So? It's not even a factor cos of covid and when it was released.

Shazam issue is what I hate. You peeps don't like Shazam but pretending it's a flop is what I can't condone.

Which bad marketing....! BoP was a bad movie period. Can't you see how a staunch villain like Black Mask was wasted.... Just go back and watch Batman: Under the Red Hood and see how good Black Mask was for just the few scenes he appeared.
Bro, any CBM movie from DC or MCU that grossed that kind of Shazam's number is a big failure, forget about the budget.
The only factor I can say that killed Shazam's box office numbers was its released date. Shazam played more like a Christmas movie. That's Dec. would've been the best period for it.
WW84 case would've ended up like Black Widow; better opening weekend then bomb in its 2nd weekend.
Don't also forget that the first Suicide Squad movie did 4times its budget but what happen.....
