Ogoni People On Nairaland, Let Us Discuss The Story Of Oyigbo, Local Government. by Coldie(m): 5:45pm On Jul 24, 2021
I discovered from my research that Ogonis have this believe that Oyigbo local government belongs to them, they have been spreading this propaganda over and over again.

But none has ever given any strong defense, I made all my searches.

Oyigbo people aka the Ndokis, tell us your story. Let us at one point in time know that if we were talking judge ourselves we won't have anything to fear or hide.

Let Justice prevail.

Ogoni Ppl are suffering delusion.
My MIL is originally from there and her ppl strongly identify themselves as Igbos.

How did supposed migrants occupy your area, replaced your language, your culture, your kingship title, your market days and even renamed it so much that it was documented?

Unu jee hie ura!

I don't think there is all these need dragging people up and down, even a child belongs to himself, so why do we categorise a whole people when we know that these people living in border communities have a touch of others and it is even complex for themselves to properly identify who they are, so we are complicating issues for them, Ogonis is defined, Igbos are defined, Opobo is not defined, Bonny is not defined, Ika is not defined, just give these people some breathing space, let them just be a people, one person can not speak for all of them, hopefully Nigeria is not dividing and as far as Nigeria remains one these things needs not be taken so seriously, then if Nigeria happens to divide, these people are mature enough to decide their destiny and be with whomever their majority prefers.

more Igbos will still settle in any part of Nigerian soil legally and if you stand on their way, you might as well hug the oceans or the desert

Ok..
Obigbo has nothing to do with Ogoni people.
They changed it from obigbo to oyigbo, and seperated part of Ndoki land from Abia state and put it into akwa ibom because of Oil that is already loosing export value, just because it was in an Igbo territory, which will soon shock funny people that don't want to diversify the Economy.
Truth is truth.

Without sentiments, OYIGBO land belongs to the Ogoni people. Settlers don’t own the land. All the Ibos living in Oyigbo bought the land as they have their different home states. The name Oyigbo doesn’t have any connotation of it belonging to the Ibos as we also have a place in Lagos state called Igbo-Efon, Oyingbo etc

Are u from ndoki?

From my analysis, Oyigbo people have brought out their defense over and over again, but no single ndoki person has came out to defend their land they all just prefer to remain mute
