When applying for the accommodation, tell the landlord you will stay for more than a year, however,
the embassy will want u to get 3 months contract first. So u can decide to pay for next month but tell the landlord you need 3 months contract first.
thank you very much for the insight

Please my school gave me an accommodation certificate though I haven't made any payment for accomodation, would it be a challenge in visa application?

The accommodation certificate only stated the start date. The accommodation was actually arranged by the school after I indicated interest in staying in the school residential hall.

Hi, goodmorning
Please I have question
I'm trying to apply for france and before I started I wanted to book an appointment so I know my date of submission but I couldn't book one without filling the forms. So I went ahead and filled the forms and submitted and to book appointment, its saying the earliest slot is 1st of September. But in my forms my dates for travel is 14th September which is not ideal now considering the appointment date.
Please what can I do? How do I get an earlier date for appointment? Or how do I change my date of travel. All documentation I have is stated for the 14th September period. I reside in abuja
Please advice.
Thank you

Don't bother to book any appointment just go to VFS center in abuja with all your documents, tell those security officer outside the building that ur school ask you to come and confirm some information, once u have access in, 3rd floor is VFS global, walk straight to the reception tell the receptionist that you came to submit ur documents for student VISA for France and u would want to pay for VIP. VIP is 17500. Go with additional 17500 for VIP

Thank you.

It's not for student visa tho.
It's the regular short stay tourist visa
I'm just confused why it didn't let me see an appointment date before making me fill all the information about intended travel date in the form.
How do I go about this.

That’s kinda short.

You will be getting a years first which is 12 months and the law state that you must have extra 3 months by the expiration of the visa.

You need to talk to campus France.

Ok.
I'm really still looking for an advice. I filled out my forms online and put my intended travel dates for September 14th but when I got to book appointment the earliest date is September 1st for people in abuja . Please what do I do?
Is there a way to get an early appointment? Or do I cancel the whole application?
Please advice.

You can delete already filled app and refill another application with different date you want then proceed to appointment

You do know dates are given based on availability, and there is zero assurance you will get a date earlier than the last one you got.

Why not adjust your travel plans instead?

Yea, I thought so. So I changed travel plans to sometime in October and I got an early date for appointment in September. I guess that will work. Thank you so much

Hello House, please i applied for erasmus mundus but i was offered a tuition reduction of 18k to 6k euro. the program starts by september 2021. I wish to know if theres another person on the same category like me. I also would like to know the experience like for a joint masters program in EU. thanks
ogatboy:

The money is more than enough, I lived on less than 500 monthly although in CROUS accommodation. You can send a mail to CROUS in your school using Google translator although the period for taking requests ended 31st of May. People in Paris get grant of only 750 nthey survive. All the best

When you are booking for appointment online, is there an option to pick the date you want or is the embassy that will give you a date based on the avaliability?

Because am planning to submitt on the second week of august, like on the 12th. I hope i can get that date.

The will give you dates based on availability. I realised in my recent search that if you are in lagos, u can get dates in August, but if u are in abuja, the earliest dates are in September. No idea why but I'm guessing because of covid they are accepting certain number per day. So if you are in lagos, u can try, you might get the dates but the longer you wait the farther the dates change

So far people that have gone to vaccination centers were told they are not doing it anymore, which may lead one to think that the donations have finally ran out.

Are you applying for long or short stay?
