And since you have a non digital skill(sewing) you can design a Digital Service out of it. For instance you can decide to start an online eCommerce platform offering sewing related products. If your expertise is topnotch you can create contents (visuals) for training or mentorship on fashion....there are over 50 fashion niches you can venture . Immedaitky my wife finished her service, she was delayed for like 5month before she was enlisted for NYSC, so during that time she used it to learn how to sew....
Immediately she finished her camp, she was posted to a very big private school, but wanted a private school, so I spoke to her to take the school..
The school is where she got her breakthrough, I told her to inform the proprietor that she knows how to sew, from there she was given the school contract to start sewing all school uniform, while still working there as their administrative Officer, earning two money at the same time...
When we got married, I rented 3bedroom flat and she uses one as a shop, now she has alot of customers...
Build yourself well in what you do and market and network and you will excel...

Since you are passionate about sewing, and you have the skill already, here's what i think you should, to keep you in line with your passion, and also help you generate money, especially online.
First, you have to show people what you can do, which in this case, is sewing.
You can start with youtube.
Create a channel where you show your works, and also teach people how to make some kind of sewing for free.
Do this with all your heart.
Try to grow an audience that either want to learn from you, patronise you, or like you.
This way, you will be building their trust and placing yourself as an expert.
Soon, you will be reaping the reward in terms of money.
So,first, create social media pages, then create content for them.

If you want something rather faster, you can do drop shipping or affiliate marketing.
If you must do this, try to focus on products that are in line with your passion already. This will help you keep your passion alive.
