Any cadet I see I always give him/her salute because the financial resources he/she spends in processing his/her documents is enormous.He/she will sit for the hard examination questions.If he passes he will travel to Kaduna for the screening,sit on the bare floor in hot sun or rainfall everyday throughout the screening duration,go through the rigorous process of medical,documentation, racing, and start lobbying with top officers to make it to the final stage.Money to sort still involved in all these process.Omo you try.

Maybe you are among the 3% that entered without connection , that’s after they might have taken all the northerners but the normal short time service ( it’s all about connections ) I saw a picture , all this family entered through cadet in different uniform line . In One of the recruitment , a boy and a girl came close to the gate in kaduna (NDA) , Trying to gain access. some military men chase them away , the girl made a call . Few minutes later ,a major came out and took both of them inside..

If you can count the ratio of urobo army personnel or even DELTANS

it's mostly RC officers that fly in the Nigerian airforce

As a dssc officer ....your chance of flying is 1% ...the few dssc officers that fly are those that went to aviation school and are already certified pilots before joining the military
