Nnamdi Kanu’s Legal Team To Challenge October 21 Adjournment Date
The court had adjourned to October 21, 2021, for continuation of hearing.

Ifeanyi Ejiofor, the lead counsel to the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, has stated that the team of lawyers will activate a “judicial process” to ensure that the Federal High Court in Abuja can hear Kanu’s trial earlier than October 21’s adjournment date

Ejiofor, in an update he posted on Monday, also noted that the court had allowed Kanu’s friends and family members to visit him in custody

“It is now an Order of the Court. Anybody within the above classification can visit but will be profiled by our Head of Chambers.

“Our discreet findings confirmed that Kanu was not taken out of Abuja to an unknown destination. Kindly ignore the rumour mongers. We will visit him again within the next few hours And by The grace of God Almighty, Kanu will regain his freedom sooner than may be expected.”

Kanu's trial before 26th July y'day was looking as if u want to die come around d Federal High Court. Justice delayed is justice denied, the defendant should not be put at the mercy of the judge going on private vacation when there are several judges being payed by the government under the federal high court.
Not presenting the accused to court under the guise of logistics when DSS office is directly opposite the same Court is shameful for us as a nation.
Now we can see why thousands of ordinary citizens are languishing in jail's because of logistics and judges not been available to hear their cases with series of adjournments.

Even the process of bringing him to Nigeria from Kenya by extraordinary rendition is shameful for our acclaimed status as 'giant of Africa', why was it so difficult to lobby a smaller country like Kenya to sign extradition treaty with Nigeria and hand him over?

I am looking at this issue beyond Nnamdi Kanu but as it relates to the ordinary Nigerian on the streets including us reading this.
